The Incident at Galley House

I bought this to be nice, as a way of saying "thanks" for one of the best computer games I've ever played in my life. Then I fired it up, just because it feels weird to buy a game and not at least start it. Now I can't put it down. I was skeptical of the UI overhaul but it's perfect. It manages to keep all the good bits from the text version while adding in QOL improvements and fun new layers. And the story itself is such that it's actually really satisfying to replay, knowing everything you wind up knowing after the first time. In short, dang. Nice work everyone, hope this blows up like Roottrees.

Honestly, the voice acting was amazing and the game had several moments of "AH HA!" I loved it. Definitely recommend and while the theme is a little spooky at times, there isn't any true "scares", so you're safe.

I loved The Roottrees are Dead but I ADORE The Incident at Galley House. I feel that a lot of deduction games lose steam toward the end once the mystery has more or less worn off, but Galley House hit me with new realizations over and over again. When I would think I'd reached a plothole, I almost always managed to reach answer later. It's a great game and very satisfying to play!

Great game. Some similarities to both Obra Dinn and Roottrees are Dead. No spoilers, but the second half really kicked my whole impression of the game up a notch.

It is very impressive that the developers constantly hit the sweet spot where we can get just enough info to push the progress forward, but no so much that makes the game too easy.

Hooked me. Couldn't put it down. Solid twists.
