Excellent adaptation! Radio drama vibes.

Retroactive Gaslighting: The Game but legitimately one of my favorite metroidbrania/puzzle games to date. I think this is my favorite indie game of the year

I don't often write reviews for games I didn't actually play. But it seems like recently someone broke into my account, bought and installed and played this whole game while I was away. No one seemed to believe me when I told them, but I can't find any other explanation as to why I have it. I thought maybe I'll find some clues in the reviews, but no. Except... now that I think about it, didn't I play it? I think I suddenly have some visions of it. It's actually an amazing game, now that I think about it. Yes! It's a detective game, a bit like Return of the Obra Dinn, where you have to follow clues to figure out different scenes to uncover a greater mystery. There's some really mind-bending twists, making you revise previous scenes and situations in completely new light. Ah, so I do remember it now. How could I even forget? It was me who was playing it all along! Wait, what the hell was that sound? It's not even raining...

Another great game guys.

Huge fan of The Roottrees Are Dead, so I bought this without hesitation and can say I'm not disappointed. Though its a graphical remake of a text adventure, the style of deduction and gameplay they chose fits the studios sensibilities perfectly. You couldn't have given this task to a better team. So engrossed I played it in a single sitting and can't wait for the next game from these guys!

Nicely polished game. Better answer checking system then the usual get 3 right that has been used since obra dinn. Note taking was a step back from roottrees, not sure why because it seems ripped straight out of it. First twist was great! second twist was fun enough, but the ending was a bit disappointing. Worth it if you're a fan of the genre
