About
On Sunday the 7th of March, 1936, a group of locals made their way up the long, muddy track to Galley House. As far as any of them knew, the house had stood empty for decades.
Inside, they discovered the bloody aftermath of something horrific.
The authorities were summoned, and the crime scene was eventually cleared away. But nobody ever figured out what happened that dreadful night. It seemed likely that no one ever would.
Now, many years later, you have access to a peculiar machine — one that lets you listen in on echoes of the past. Can you piece together the events behind The Incident at Galley House?

What a great game. I think I saw a review of someone saying this was their favorite out of a long list of great mystery games and after clearing it I have to agree. It obviously takes a good amount of inspiration from Obra Dinn, but adds its own distinctive quirk. But more than anything, IMO this is the game that manages to hit a happy medium between difficulty and internal logic. I've never had to resort to blind guesses or logic leaps in this game, but never felt it was easy either.

The story is a masterfully tied knot and it's cleverer than you. Elevated further by a fantastic UI; just great all around.
Brilliant game! I loved the graphics, the voice acting, and the way the game keeps surprising you just when you think you've figured everything out. I was completely hooked from start to finish. Story-wise, I was expecting something like Clue, but the game delivered so much more. I loved being able to replay scenes, slowly piecing everything together, figuring out who everyone was, and assigning them their avatars. Every new discovery felt rewarding. Just when I thought I had seen everything, the game introduced another twist that made the story even better. On top of that, previously seen scenes included new dialogue, completely changing my perspective and making me want to replay everything all over again. What an incredible experience.
An excellent remake of an already excellent game. I bought this to support the devs since I loved Type Help so much, and even though much of the game was as I remembered, eventually a whole new mystery started to unravel. Absolutely a must-buy!
A truly amazing deduction game, that will surprise with its cleverness. A must have if you enjoy the likes of the Roottrees are Dead or the Golden Idol.
That was so good! Such an intriguing and creative plot! The game is just about the right difficulty to make it not frustratingly obtuse or mind numbingly obvious. Voice acting and sound design was really high quality throughout. UI was mostly really good and the seance machine feels really nice and intuitive to use, reminds me of a high-tech "Guess Who?" board. My only minor gripe with the UI was that I would have liked to be able to mark timeframes with more than two reminders. The twist near the end was great! Strongly recommend this for any fans of detective and mystery games! And after two smash hits with The Roottrees are Dead and now this I'm really excited to see what William and Evil Trout will release next!
while I wouldn't say this was a bad game, it wasn't good either. I really wanted to like this game, I loved the rootrees are dead, however this just didn't do it for me. The gameplay loop is incredibly repetitive, difficult in a way that is time consuming and a little vague, but not satisfying. I finished the game very quickly, the rootrees are dead took me a lot longer to think things through. It was pretty obvious who everyone was very early on, and what was happening, I was less than half way through. The game looks good and the actual game runs just fine. I just couldn't say this was an enjoyable game, which is a great shame. There something about the lack of proper closure for the events that is disappointing, we have no idea why the things are happening. SPOLIERS: I also felt like the ending was a bit.... confusing? I feel like based on the established rules the player character shouldn't have survived. Yes, we didn't know the man who died in the final act, but we did know all of our colleagues.
Oh My Gosh. I played their Roottree game and bought this one as soon as it came out. 9 hours later, I've 100% completed the game and I wasn't disappointed. The flow of this game was fantastic. I wasn't floundering around for obscure clues like with The Roottrees are Dead. The storyline was great! Kept you wondering for a while before you start to realize what's going on, and then you're crying as you know what's coming. I loved it, every second.
