About
Storyline
You are hired to return to an abandoned circus shortly after it was shut down. Your task is simple: remove any evidence that could raise questions before investigators arrive. As you move through the empty tents and restricted areas, you begin to uncover signs that something went wrong. Objects left behind, locked sections of the circus, and scattered clues start to paint a picture you weren’t meant to see. It quickly becomes clear that you are not alone. Someone is still inside the circus… and they know you’re there.
Gameplay
The Incident is a first-person horror experience focused on exploration and environmental storytelling. Players will search the circus for evidence, interact with objects, and navigate through different areas to complete their objective. Gameplay revolves around exploring, collecting and destroying evidence, and avoiding the presence that remains within the circus. The game emphasizes atmosphere, building tension through sound, environment, and pacing rather than constant action. The experience is designed to be short and focused, with an estimated playtime of around 20–40 minutes.

It has potential but needs some work, I didn't have any real encounter with the enemy, and it was pretty short. It just needs some polishing. I really want to give it a middle thumb as it needs some optimization, especially with such a small map. NOTE: even though I turned the music off, I still got a "Claimed Content Found" warning. that's how hard it is to avoid as a youtuber in 2026 lmao https://youtu.be/dqjuf3QE3mI
trash game its just loud jumpscares and no content im a youtuber and i tried to record this game and the performance is so garbage
This was a peak game
This game is one of the worst. I don't think you need to really see anything past the screenshots to know that, but just incase you did, this is the worst. In response to the developer asking for specific criticism, I'll do my best. You downloaded a bunch of unrelated assets, downloaded a "horror game template" pack (I recognize all the UI used in this game), slapped a bunch of of trash down on the map and have the player wander around and collect all of it. The enemy AI runs at you in a straight line and jumpscares you if you get caught, or alternatively you get them stuck and they respawn. Even at this games "best", this is embarrassing. The trailer is like, all of the game. Simply put, you either didn't try or you have no idea what you're doing. Good luck on your next project because this one isn't it. I recommend playing some actually good horror games before you make another.
Great game the dev is really cool and you should play this make sure to use low shadows for a horrifying experience
Fun cheap game with a few good jumpscares. 8/10 https://youtu.be/S0fhCyeNA6A?is=Xc8vTIGfeseSDyB6
The dev was really down to earth when he approached me about his game. Even through its his first, he has the potential to make some good ones down the road. It’s a great short horror game dealing with clowns (which im very afraid of). Definitely worth giving a if you’re new to the horror genre and want something to make you jump! All in all great job to the solo dev!
I was given the amazing chance to play this game on Twitch early access while the dev chatted to me in the comments. It was such a fun experience! It took me about 35 minutes which was right on the mark for what the dev said. It's their first game but I didn't see any bugs or issues, the game downloads super quickly and runs smoothly, and the jump scares got me. The circus was so spooky as well. Once again thank you to the developer for offering me the opportunity to play it.
The Incident surprised me with how strong its atmosphere is. I genuinely enjoyed optimizing my playthrough and exploring every corner of the park. The controls are smooth, responsive, and never got in the way. The fog is creepy, just hanging low across the abandoned rides, and that makes everything feel unsettling. The premise is also really interesting. You’re basically a cleaner coming in to wipe a crime scene, like something you’d see in the mob. You can’t leave until all the evidence is gone, and the game leans into that pressure. The character finds himself trapped between two really bad options. That tension gives the whole experience a unique feeling. The clues scattered around the park piece together a story that feels genuinely unsettling. Overall, The Incident delivers a creepy, atmospheric experience with good controls, spooky visuals, and an eerie premise that kept me engaged far longer than I expected.
