About
The House of Toys is a game developed by Old School Bros, a duo of video game and horror genre enthusiasts.
The game's mission is to free the soul of the cursed toy, day after day, game after game. But be careful—each game can be different. You will earn rewards that make your work more satisfying, allow you to improve your room, and help you discover secrets.
The House of Toys is divided into several phases in each game.
Investigate – Explore the mansion, searching for clues to help you identify the toy.
Puzzles and Action – While avoiding the cursed toy, you’ll need to solve puzzles that grant you the power to free its soul.
Stealth – You’ll need to be cautious and stealthy to use your new power and release the toy’s soul.
Do you dare to discover the true origin of the curse?

It was an interesting concept, but I honestly can't recommend the game as it is. It feels rushed and the pacing/timing of the rounds make it very difficult for new people to get into/understand/enjoy. You have 6 minutes to find clues to discover which is the cursed plush before it goes into attack mode. Even in the tutorial it doesn't give you extra time to get your bearings of the game and learn the place. Says you have 1 minute to look around and find all the locations of the plushies for the round, but that's not enough time to walk around the whole house fully to know where everything is before things start to change/happen for clues. The tutorial basically tells you what the clues are, but even then it was really silly. Says one of the clues was whispering, but couldn't even hear it because the thunder from the storm was too loud and went off the exact same time the whispering did to even hear it. If the tutorial didn't tell me I wouldn't have known. Another said there was dripping and there must be a leak, I heard no dripping at all. I ended up failing in the tutorial, the plushie waking up (it doesn't kill you in tutorial) so just had this thing following me around making noises with the game telling me to escape. I then played an actual game after the tutorial and I there was still nothing that made it better. I had a plushie that was cursed and he was in the basement, he just got stuck on the stairs and I closed the door and had the rest of the time to just wonder around lost confused and no clue what I was even doing. Still failed because I didn't even understand what I had to do next after waking up the cursed plushie and there's no way to refresh what you need to do without having to quit to main menu and go to the tutorial section again. You can't press escape while in game to adjust settings, you have to completely exit to main menu. Journal doesn't really help in giving advice on what to do next or notes from tutorial that you can look up if the text on screen that appears for a brief moment was missed/forgotten. A lot of these issues makes me not want to keep playing more rounds to understand the game better because it just frustrating and confusing than enjoyable fun.
Por ahora no he visto ningun bug.
