The premise didn't hook me at first, but as each character's story unfolds, the mystery evolves into a fantastic meta-narrative that kept me guessing until the end. The game constantly subverts your expectations. Just when you get comfortable with one gameplay style, it switches genres, making every moment feel fresh and playful. Beneath that, [i]The Hex[/i] has a lot to say about storytelling, game design, and what it means to be a video game character. It's funny, creative, and surprisingly thought-provoking. [hr][/hr] [b]Recommended?[/b] Absolutely. Go in blind. The less you know, the better.

It's 4-6 hours of creepy Daniel Mullins stuff, pretty fun, pacing is very weird at times.

Great and intriguing story, but several exceedingly tedious and excessively difficult sections almost ruined it for me. I still got through it though and feel that is was worth my time.
