The Gretlow Tapes

Honestly, what an Hidden gem that "The Gretlow tapes" is. That game deserve more attention for sure, The better is to experience it, it's worth the shot. i enjoyed playing this game. I'll keep an eye on the Dev, thank you for Creating that Hidden Gem Aegon Games.

Classic horror game. Does great work in building up tension, though the random bangs & knocks lose their scare effect after a while. The narrative isn't exactly new; braindead guy goes to place where people have vanished, it's a little tiring. Would've been better if they knew one of the missing people, they were their friend, lover or even sibling but they parted on poor terms, so here they come to find them & make up for it. Heck, could even add in that the friend/lover/sibling went to the haunted house because of the breakup, so in a way, it's the main character's fault for their disappearance & this is them trying to fix that & find them. Either way, a good horror experience; though got stuck on the safe puzzle & didn't finish.

I liked the game’s story, atmosphere, and found footage style. The jump scares and sound effects are also great. However, I wasn’t too keen on the maze-like layout of the basement it was a bit annoying. 📹

J’ai essayé The Gretlow Tapes récemment et j’ai vraiment aimé l’approche très “found footage”. L’ambiance repose beaucoup sur le silence, l’exploration et les petits détails, ça crée un malaise constant plutôt que des jumpscares gratuits. 진짜 존나 재미없음 공포게임이 아니라 방탈출게임하는 느낌임 줫같이 길찾기도 힘들고 이딴게임이 왜 매우긍정적?

Wirklich gut!

The jumpscares at first were good, they definitely got the best of me, but once I realized I couldn’t die or get hurt, which you tend to notice multiple times during the playthrough, you lose the sense of being scared and just becomes funny, great story overall.
