Well. I would like to say I gave this a genuine and honest try. However... 10 years for 2 hours of gameplay that isn't even accurate to the setting and with systems that are incredibly frustrating to understand. The class system is clearly biased and half baked. While some aspects and combos are incredibly good, some others are essentially worthless and mind numbingly boring to play. Went from playing a Mage of Space which was pretty fun to a Prince of Doom which was absolutely chunking damage to an Heir of Breath playthrough where I couldn't even use my abilities in combat and the movement was deceptively awful, to a Witch of Mind which was almost depressingly awful and the stun didn't even function. There is a clear bias in some of the designs of the aspects and classes or a complete lack of thought put into it. Inventory management was hell considering you can only hold 4 items at once and the item you can use to expand it doesn't work. The devs prioritize adding new dungeons instead of actually fixing the problems. Dungeons are repetitive, the puzzles are unengaging, and often times bugged so you can't even proceed. I really do not want to be rude but it feels like the game devs did not actually test their own game. On the mage of space playthrough, i had a planet where the dungeons were pipes, and i found another pipe and went through it only to get stuck and end up having to bug my way out of the random pipe. Normally, I find bugs endearing but these bugs are more like pests and need to be dealt with before even fathoming proceeding. TLDR: 10 years for maybe 2 hours of gameplay where 75% of the gameplay is dealing with bugs, unexplained systems, and dealing with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ classpects that realistically should not be underperforming. 2/5, two grist for the attempt and soundtrack.

ONLY PLAY IF YOU AND/OR THE PEOPLE PLAY WITH HAVE READ AT LEAST A BIT OF HOMESTUCK. I'm not saying you need to finish it, but if nobody in your group understands how to enter the game, you most likely will not be able to advance. Now, it is a VERY buggy experience, and has its problems (how do you rotate things in build mode???) but not unplayable. From my understanding, you can get relatively far into sburb, but I have not seen any proof that dream selves, derse, prospit, or skyia exist yet. Keep in mind, this game is forced multiplayer. You WILL need to rely on at least one person to help you with certain parts.
A young man sits at his desk. little does he know hes about to add another game to his steam library that he'll never play.
a very buggy game tbh but still so so fun! runs pretty well for the most part on my computer
this game is a game
held together like elmers glue and hardened mud, genuinely very fun and faithful but i never managed to finish a game due to bugs
somehow managed to be buggier and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ than it was 6 years ago and they still havent fixed the damn bug where you cant even place down a damn pre-punched card
really good for still being early access, there was a lot of lag and i wish there was like 2 more camera angles, but still hella good.
Giving it a positive review for its character creator alone.
