The Forgotten City

Great story driven game focusing on talking to characters and solving a series of mysteries. The light platforming elements are a bit fiddly, but they're very minimal so it's okay. The action is the same thing. Overall, well worth the playthrough!

Un gioco che mi è piaciuto soprattutto per il suo loop investigativo: scoprire la Regola d'Oro, svelare i vari segreti e capire come le storie dei personaggi si intrecciano per arrivare alla soluzione è davvero appagante. La narrazione e le singole storie sono ben costruite e coinvolgenti. Il vero punto debole rimane il combat system, decisamente meno riuscito rispetto al resto dell'esperienza.

Excellent jeu ! Essentiellement c'est une histoire interactive, mais il y a quand même quelques éléments de gameplay. Intrigue très prenante, ambiance crédible. Joli décor. Le jeu se finit vite, mais pour avoir les différents résultats de scrutin et les différentes fins, ça fait une durée de vie très raisonnable pour ce genre de jeu.

Surprisingly underrated, although its issues i do think this game is well made. I love the story, and mechanics - I have always been infatuated with roman/greek mythology so i knew i would like this game anyway. I like the atmosphere and time travel mechanic; I feel it was implemented well and the concept of the Golden Rule - I love. It's a good game though, the dialogue does drag on at times with minor bugs present throughout; but i think the amazing story and endings do make up for it. I'm trying not to spoil much because it would be rather easy to do so - but I would definitely recommend giving this game a try. The game was adjacent to skyrim in some ways, a game which I don't like; but somehow the devs managed to make the dialogue actually interesting to listen too. Its unfortunate to see such amazing games being overshadowed so I definitely hope more people do play this game.
