you have no idea how happy i was when i realized "The First Tree" is connected to "Home is where one starts". i didn't even realized it was made by the same man, i am glad i did not pass on this beautiful experience since "Home is where one starts" had hit me with such sincerity when i first played it, even though my life has no parallel to these two characters i could feel how genuine these games are. thank you and your wife for making these games even if it doesn't reach people who need them at least someone will find them and be moved.

Two married couple, woke up by dream in middle of night and talk, I am just running fox. That's my experience. Music got me going. I give thumb up for that and that only. The whole story was not very interesting to begun with (My deepest aplogies if it's relatable to anyone in real life or the creator himself). I found it very boring as same old, same regret stuffs going on. Game play experience is just very minimalize collectaton, with vast empty space. I know it was made by one person but come on, it's just very stretched exploration for no reason. It's ok to play games like this once in a while, but I will never visit again. I loved the passion of the creator and bought it for full price. The stories could be told in fable as we play as fox. Overall experience not very pleasant. The music got me going. One time experience.

Petit jeu très sympathique ! Les points positifs : - la direction artistique est somptueuse - les musiques sont vraiment très bonnes - le scénario est très bien fait, agréable à suivre et il y a de l’émotion - le gameplay est ULTRA basique mais fonctionnel et donc correct Les points négatifs : - les niveaux sont trop ouverts et trop grands alors que ça ne sert pas à grand chose (- le gameplay aurait pu être plus innovant même si ce n’est pas réellement un point négatif puisque ce n’est absolument pas le but du jeu). Donc pour moi un très bon jeu avec une expérience très forte, émouvante et surprenante que j’ai vécu. Il y a des moments où il faut s’accrocher et j’avais les larmes aux jeux et des petits jeux indépendants comme ça j’en veux tous les jours.

I enjoyed this game. I really liked the environments, the collecting, and the music. The ending is one of the more beautiful endings of any game I've ever played. The game could be improved if there were more things to find/collect. There's a lot of space in each level. Also, I found Joseph's story to be a little annoying, as he seemed to be wallowing in self-pity. If the game was less explicit maybe I would have apprecited his narration a little more. I cared a lot more for the fox and her journey.

QUE JOGO INCRÍVEL Esse jogo foi o primeiro a me fazer chorar, muitas lembranças, perdi meu pai ano passado, acho que é o Jogo perfeito para quem está em luto, é bem curtinho, mas vale a pena demais, contemplativo ao máximo, as músicas são todas 11/10, tudo é muito bem feito, recomendadíssimo!
