*Our Mountain* - Eine Reise in die Vergangenheit
Adventure + serene music/visuals + puppy = A wholesome short adventure. Explore the mountain and find out what happened. Switch to puppy mode to see hidden clues/areas. It feels like a good hike. I ugly-cried for a long time because of this game. Our Mountain might be cathartic, at least it was for me. The visual style doesn't really suggest how deep it will go - but it does, trust me. I recommend playing it but don't expect anything long or complex - it's an easy, short experience meant to make you think and feel.
A nice little gem of a game! Being able to see from the dog's perspective was interesting! I like that you can go back and choose the other ending...the good ending is very satisfying!
I love the idea of 2 stories happening at the same time. The opening scene is nice. Good story.
I don't usually play walking simulators, but I enjoyed Our Mountain. It's a sad story about a man and his dog, made more tragic because the main character can't get over his past, leading them to the mountain path. The journey is about an hour and a half. There's not much to do on the walk, but it's made enjoyable by the scenery, sometimes switching to the dog, collecting bones, and reading notes. The slowly revealing backstory and the suspense that something terrible will happen are enough to keep you going. It might be worth it at full price, but it's definitely worth it on sale.
Nice little experience (not really a game) trying to explain how to deal with dying. Similar to The First Tree.
Amateurish story focused walking sim. -low fov -fps can drop to like 30-40 for no good reason even thugh the graphics are super simplistic -character model is so bad -the story wants to be dramatic but is just laughable -you have to replay the whole boring game if you wanna get the second ending -the block puzzle is soooo slow
I'm a big baby and this game made me cry. Beautiful piece thanks
Very sweet and short game!
