Warning: AI Slop This game is partially or completely made with talentless, soulless AI generated content.
"The Final Act" is a garbage first person adventure/badly written visual novel hybrid, and this is so bad the "developer" used ChatGPT for it... ugh. AI Slop is never worth your time. Wade through mountains of AI Slop generated/edited text from someone who can't write and so used a computer to do it for him. Gamers, you deserve better than this... genuinely made games from real artists are out there. Go with one of those. As mentioned, this features really godawful, "wrong" looking AI slop instead of genuinely and sincerely created game assets. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating real game assets or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision. AI slop sticks out like a sore thumb... and it comes across as insulting. Now it's true not everything here is AI Slop... but a lot of it looks like it might have been borrowed from asset stores instead. However, the use of AI slop at all is enough of a problem... needless to say the game looks awful, original content or not, and the blurry filter makes things worse. And of course, zero optimisation. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 4 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

(Update; oh, yuck, I didn't see this was AI slop, that explains so much. Disregard all the stuff I say below about this having potential; the dev's apparently didn't care enough to actually make this game, so it was never going to be any better than bad.) It's rare for me to give a free game a bad rating... when it isn't riddled with ads and in-app purchases, anyway. The Final Act is not a rotten idea. It's a rather nice one, actually; a first person puzzle game with a theoretically charming art style built around the idea of exploring fictional murder scenarios for a story. Lovely. The issue comes when you start playing. I don't have a weak PC, but this game was chugging along as soon as I wound up in control. That's probably because of all the various filters used to give it the fuzzy, indistinct look that it has. I feel like they were going for "watercolour", but what I got from it was "cataracts", Going to the settings, there're no fine-grain video settings, just simple overall presets; Epic is the default chug-fest, High runs betters but looks just as awful, and the two lower settings both trade off the blurry glowy filters for frankly bizarre colour choices. I have no idea what's going on here, just that every graphical option I have is a different flavour of bad. So I kept with "High", got to Act 2 Draft 2, and immediately hit a wall with the game. I have some keys, and I'm supposed to open a cabinet to get an important item to progress. I spent about quarter of an hour stuck here, for a few reasons: 1) Every time I went over to the bookshelf, the keys icon started glowing and got a "*" symbol on it. I assumed that was a highlight to show I could interact with something... "I guess this is what they mean by 'cabinet', bit weird but OK'... but, no, I guess that's just one of the many glow effects acting on the key sprite on the interface, in that part of the level. I don't know who decided that the graphics filters should effect the HUD in this way, but it was the wrong decision. 2) Because there's no control screen, and so no way to redefine keys or even see what they are, when I couldn't interact with that bookshelf that the HUD had convinced me was relevant, I had no idea why. Is there some "use" button I don't know about? Am I supposed to hit the number key assigned to the keys in the corner? 3) The "cabinet" turned out to be a small side-table that I'd walked past a dozen times, that I definitely would not have called a "cabinet". I, honestly, really would understand the bookshelf being called a "cabinet" more than this. I feel really harsh on this one. The good news is that this can be fixed. The core idea here is fine, the writing is OK, the scenarios are good, it really is just the over-indulgent graphic weirdness, and the slightly off signposting, that's holding it back. Make the "cabinet" an actual cabinet (or refer to it as a "side table" or something), wipe the Vasoline smeared over the in-game camera off, and leave a comment to let me know; I'll take another look, and tweak this review accordingly. As it is though, on the day I'm reviewing this, I'm afraid I do not recommend this game.
The Final Act, yazar Rebecca Carter'ın romanı için mükemmel cinayet planını hazırlayarak yazma tıkanıklığını aşmasına yardımcı olduğunuz, görsel roman ve bulmaca oyununun bir karışımıdır. Mükemmel suçu ortaya çıkarmak için karmaşık bulmacaları çözün, suç mahallerini ayarlayın ve sürükleyici hikaye anlatımında gezinin.
It was ok but would be a lot better if all or most of the options and were open from the beginning and each ending would be critiqued at the end by the author until the best ending was found.
it was an interesting little game suggested by a friend, ideal for a quick time killer :)
I would suggest this nice, little story to everyone, who got a half hour to spare for.
All right free little walking sim.
I played this as a one off. The controls and overall story are very minimal and leaves me wanting more from this game. This game was an idea that needed more development. I would not play this again and I certainly do not recommend it.
玩到一半就猜到了,只能说创意很好,但表现形式还差很多。介于是免费游戏所以给个推荐。 你从名字都能看出来,
rebecca=Jessica+reina
