Love it! Getting a little farther each time is very satisfying.

Glad to see this game is finally out! The game has a great blend of snappy golden-age platformer movement and enemies, along with more modern twinstick shooting and roguelike macro mechanics. If you are a fan of roguelikes with versatile builds and lots of content to unlock, this game definitely scratches that itch. It's surprisingly fine-tuned given the amount of items available. The story/setting are fairly unique, with Aztec mythology rarely getting the spotlight in media, and comes with a lot of characters and progressive dialogue peppered in to keep you engaged - both of which adding to a Hades-like vibe. The game is fairly challenging and seems like it'll make good speedrunning material (I'm planning to submit a run if a page goes up for it), but has enough roguelite upgrades to even out in long-form/casual play. A definite buy for fans of its various genres.

This game is really fun! I love the theme! The wall sliding makes the movement really fun. The bosses are really challenging, but the game is addicting and keeps you wanting to try again and again to learn and take a new approach. The random power ups also keep each run-through fresh and exciting!

A wise man once said that death is just a doorway; that certainly rings true for 'The Feathered Serpent.' A casual gamer such as myself finds that the controls alone are fun to play around with. I must have spent around ten minutes just mastering the ability to jump off walls during the first tutorial (In fact I know I did because there is an in-game timer). Beyond the controls, the game play itself is challenging and rewarding, and every death takes you to an area where you can build up your skill tree using gems that you collect from killing enemies. This means that, lets say, "less hardcore gamers" can get a boost every time they die, improving their odds on the next play through with perhaps an extra heart or an attack boost. Its a well thought out mechanic that makes The Feathered Serpent approachable for players of all skill levels.

I played the demo and beta before and watched Tsundown's streams on Twitch, he put a lot of love into the game and the end product is amazing, the art style is really unique and looks amazing. The game itself combines gore with an origin story for the main character and explains the gameplay loop and objective really well, with the huge variety of unique items the game is a constant challenge.

this game is genuinely amazing!! i kept wanting to play JJUUUsSTTTT one more game, OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!! as a fellow game dev this is GOLD great job!! ps the jungle area is my fav!! seriously recommend this game

I'm having a great time with this game. The play loop is enjoyable, and it is easy to pick up and get a run in.
