Damn! It is a cool project, I like it a lot. The story is very interesting and touching, everyone in the game feels very alive and memorable, a lot of choices and different consequences what I really like. Those who played and enjoyed Mass Effect games should like this one. Also I want to say that the music is good, wish to developers to try and create more of this in the same way.
Excellent game, and true to the source material! I especially appreciated the work of the voice actors. No notes, just a well-executed story. The only downside is you can only experience it for the first time once...
Good game, enjoyed the extended time in the Expanse universe and especially Avasarala's arc.
AMAZING. The acting, voice, and canon here is GOLD. I spent 2 nights on this- and love how well the story telling feeds into the series. It makes you want 300 more episodes (which wont happen). DONT LISTEN to these virgins. They are like "Oh I read the books blah blah blah" Bro- just take it for what it is- it provided MORE CANON than what you read and all across the board contributed to the series. .. HELL- even the actors lended their voices to it from the TV Series- while you shat your selves in your high castles! Screw these fat lords in their bronze ♥♥♥♥ houses!
I liked this a lot but it's chiefly because I've watched the entire show and read all the books + the novellas. I just love the series so much it was hard not to enjoy more Expanse in any form. But with that being said I didn't love how they don't let you side with the bad guy. My choices felt like they didn't matter much sometimes. Also, for $25, there's barely any playtime. I finished the entire game in 7 hours. I'd recommend it IF you like the Expanse, but I wouldn't if you weren't a big fan.

Deep and cool story about one of the favorite character of the show
TL;DR - 7/10 - Good Telltale game, but players who are already fans of "The Expanse" will probably get more out of it than non-fans. Non-fans might get bored with the gameplay as there is a lot of scavenger hunting on derelict space ships. And now some additional thoughts... TELLTALE RETURNS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT This is the first new game released under the Telltale Games label after the original company shut down. I was curious to see how the brand would do under new management, and it didn't hurt that they released a game set in a universe that I very much enjoy. So I gave it a shot, and it was pretty good. Not one of the best Telltale Games ever released (The Wolf Among Us, Tales From the Borderlands 1, and The Walking Dead are my gold standards), but still a decent outing comparable with some of the original company's decent titles. IT HELPS IF YOU ALREADY LIKE "THE EXPANSE" Admittedly, the gameplay itself is pretty shallow. It is a combination of dialogue choices, walking simulators, quick action prompts, and derelict spacecraft exploration/scavenger hunts. That said, the Telltale brand has always marketed itself on storytelling over gameplay, and the gameplay is no more shallow than it was in classic Telltale titles. Still, you will likely get more out of this title if you already like the television adaptation of "The Expanse." MADE FOR FANS You play as Carmina Drummer, a scavenger on the run from multiple authorities due to her seedy past. Carmina is a major character in the television series, and this game is an interactive prequel exploring what made her the character she was on the show. As someone who likes "The Expanse," I enjoyed interactively exploring bits of the universe and hearing Drummer's commentary on everything. I believe they got the original actress back to voice the character, and she performs the role well through her voice-acting. The rest of the cast also does very well in their roles. As far as the story goes, it's not doing anything significantly different from a lot of other space drama games/television shows. Mass Effect absolutely comes to mind with its numerous interactions with crew and crew loyalty missions. You can think of this as a very stripped-down and bare bones Mass Effect, which poses a problem for gamers who aren't already invested in "The Expanse." While there's a lot to love here for fans of the show (I particularly enjoyed the exploration of what happened to a certain group of early explorers and settlers of the solar system), there's not a lot here to attract newbies to the franchise. I can see people who aren't already fans getting bored by the gameplay, which does involve a lot of flying around spaceship wrecks looking for parts, and criticizing the story for being similar to a lot of other tales in the genre. GLITCHES None. The game ran perfectly fine on my rig with no issues. OVERALL As someone who already likes "The Expanse" I enjoyed this. I wouldn't classify it as a must play, but it is a nice bit of supplemental material for the television series, and I did like seeing and interacting with the universe. As far as non-fans are concerned... it's not bad, but the gameplay is shallow, and the story may be similar to other space drama games you've already played. 7/10. Good resurrection of the Telltale brand, but not a must play, and definitely designed for people who are already fans of "The Expanse."
Pecka...stejně jako seriál i kniha... Povinnost pro všechny, kterým se The Expanse líbilo. Kdo neví o co jde, nedoporučuji tuto hru, dokud neshlédnete seriál, nebo nepřečtete knižní předlohu. Bez toho budete velmi ochuzeni a nejspíše nebudete chápat motivaci protagonistů, natož pozadí celého příběhu. Jukněte na seriál a pak si dejte tuto hru...nejlepší možnost.
