Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Antiquarian Thomasina Bateman is writing a book on the barrows of England, documenting the treasures she finds buried within. When an intriguing letter summons her to the small village of Bewlay, tucked away in the remote countryside, she sets off by train with her assistant a day behind.
Upon her arrival, however, the mysterious man who summoned her is nowhere to be found. Her assistant never arrives. A stubborn landowner refuses access to the barrow, and the locals are wary of this woman who is traveling alone and (gasp!) wears trousers.
The excavation of Hob’s Barrow is off to a rocky start. And then Thomasina starts having strange dreams…

A dark, complex and evolving storyline featuring interwoven elements from real English folklore.
Traditional point and click adventure game puzzles and interactions, with an easy modern interface.
A cast of intriguing characters, from suspicious villagers to sickly vicars to lordly landowners, all with their own unique stories and motives.
A distinct folk horror tone and grounding.
Evocative pixel-art graphics, featuring cut-scenes and engaging animations.
A suitably atmospheric original soundtrack from The Machine. The Demon. - one half of the duo behind the award-winning "Football Game" soundtrack.
Fiends in the furrows, the smell of damp soil, and a cat or two.

Finished the game in one day (15 hours total + breaks), so needless to say its an addictive one Vibes: 10/10! Dark and mysterious in a mostly very cozy way. Good game to play with a nice cuppa on a dark, rainy day. The point and click style feels nostalgically old school, and Yorkshire is a gorgeous setting. Gameplay: 10/10. It makes you exercise your braincells just enough to keep you feeling clever, while still being relaxing. Ending: This is where the game lets you down massively imo. All the choices youve made during your playthrough dont matter much because the game only has one ending. And so Thomasina has to make some very irrational and nonsensical choices to reach that one ending (even after recieving some information that really should have made her think twice about stuff). And the ending itselt just feels quite unsatisfactory and confusing. Its definitely worth a playthrough because the vibes and mysteries are awesome, but the devs could have made it soooo much better (and more re-playable) with a different sort of ending (or multiple different ones)
Finished the game. Cant complain about the story, its a pretty solid Lovecraftian doom thing going on. Where I have a real beef with is the game's 'puzzles' I got really annoyed at the having to click absolutely every single option and one held me up for hours because the one person kept going 'I cant talk to you right now, she's here' and nothing changes about the scene except you clicked on one person once then you have to go back to this person and ♥♥♥♥ this stupid puzzle sequence, it demands an exact sequence of steps you gotta do or you're just wandering around forever. It does feel like an old point and click adventure, good and bad. Day 3 was pretty much all just object puzzles and very straightforward if you can read Latin and the old journal. I dont know if I'd recommend it because of that, the game's puzzle format feels very very dated and rigid. They absolutely captured the feel of England being completely awful though, thats pretty good.

Una gran aventura gráfica de corte clásico que satisfará a los fans del misterio y el terror, en especial a los amantes del folk horror y Lovecraft.
excellent point and click horror
Great game, and really enjoyed the storyline. I think this game is value for money, one of the best point and click games i have played this year. It Would have been great if we could have had different endings depending on which way you played the game.
Decent point & click game deep story.
wow, what a game.. great
I have to say, the subtle tension and buildup in the game are truly atmospheric and quite unique for an adventure game, supported by the fantastic voice acting. It stayed with me long after I finished playing. Unfortunately, the game doesn't end on that same level of quality, both story-wise and gameplay-wise.

Nice point-and-click game with great voice acting, beautiful music and great folk-horror vibe. The puzzles themselves are quite easy (which is a plus for me because i don't usually play these sorts of games). The atmosphere is thick and gloomy, the mystery builds up nicely, it has nice tense moments, characters are grear, there are interesting visuals (most of them are in the trailer). The fisrt half of the game is fantastic. Everything after the excavation itself dissapointed me a little, the ending as well. However, i enjoyed the game a lot and would totally recommend to play it for the vibe and the story!
