Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Antiquarian Thomasina Bateman is writing a book on the barrows of England, documenting the treasures she finds buried within. When an intriguing letter summons her to the small village of Bewlay, tucked away in the remote countryside, she sets off by train with her assistant a day behind.
Upon her arrival, however, the mysterious man who summoned her is nowhere to be found. Her assistant never arrives. A stubborn landowner refuses access to the barrow, and the locals are wary of this woman who is traveling alone and (gasp!) wears trousers.
The excavation of Hob’s Barrow is off to a rocky start. And then Thomasina starts having strange dreams…

A dark, complex and evolving storyline featuring interwoven elements from real English folklore.
Traditional point and click adventure game puzzles and interactions, with an easy modern interface.
A cast of intriguing characters, from suspicious villagers to sickly vicars to lordly landowners, all with their own unique stories and motives.
A distinct folk horror tone and grounding.
Evocative pixel-art graphics, featuring cut-scenes and engaging animations.

A very interesting story with lots of good puzzles - I did need a walkthrough towards the end but feel I could have spent more time investigating things to avoid needing that... was just a lil lazy Definitely worth a playthrough! There's easily 4-8 hours of play time here.

Beautifully dark and absolutely brilliant!
So I loved this game. The pixel art is lovely, the music and atmosphereic sound superb, Dialogue fresh and engaging. The puzzles probably also made the most sense than in any other point-and-click out there! As a Greek person myself I have some minor ammoyance with incorrectly used modern Greek, but I didn't come here for historical accuracy :P This game is in the true vein of Lovecraftian Horror which creeps up on you slowly, is a bit weird here and there, but doesn't show you too much. It also doesn't sacrifice modernity to old, tired tropes by having a well written interesting female character as the lead.
First point and click iv playd in a long time and a very enjoyable intro back in. Very atmospheric setting and story
Really enjoyed this game - great (creepy) atmosphere, tightly-focused story and pace, wonderful characters. Brilliant work.
## What I Liked - Story of the game is excellently told. - Puzzles make sense and do require exploration, but aren't moon logic to figure out. - The world has depth and you will have to carefully consider what is going on to truly figure out what is happening. ## What I Didn't Like - There has been so much advancement in adventure game controls, this came could have benefitted from that to make it less clunky. - There are sometimes locations or items that I don't feel were fully fleshed out. I kept going back to test against certain things, because I felt like they would play a larger role than they actually had. Is that really a problem? Probably not, but it is something I struggled with occasionally. ## Gameplay Classic point and click adventure game with the exact sort of item and conversation based puzzles that are conventional for the genre. Personally I really like that as knowing the framework already let me really enjoy the story and world for what it was. Though on the controls front, I think a lot of developers are doing new things with the genre that this could have benefitted from. It does do a great job of making sure you are never that far from a solution and I don't think you will need to consult a guide at any point while playing. ## Graphics & Sound Lovely artwork throughout with a lot of depth. It evokes the exact tone that they want to set as the contrast between paranoia and coziness of the countryside is there. The soundtrack is a big part of the mood settings and it is lovely. A real mix of things going on and feels like a movie soundtrack. ## Would I Recommend It? Yes! Especially if you are a fan of folk horror or horror games in general. ### Who Should Skip It It is very much a dark and moody game, that may not be for everyone. As well, you are going to have to like classic adventure game style controls. ## PC Spec CPU: i7-14700K Memory: 32GB Video Card: RTX 3080 Storage Type: NVMe Monitor resolution: 3840x2160
шикарно сделано. мне мифология и страшилки о курганах Англии неизвестны, но это не мешает пониманию сюжета. и саспенсом игра похожа на классический рассказ Лавкрафта, что тоже замечательно. музыка тоже приятная!
Someone in this team was a dog person...
excellente ambiance . enigmes assez simples
