I just don't find this game fun compared to other incrementals. The trees get stronger faster than I do, which just feels frustrating as if i haven't grown at all. Not motivated enough to keep playing

Fun short and very cute. Worth the price
TEW is another one of those incremental games. You chop wood, collect currency, upgrade your stats through the skill tree menu and repeat. The game does have 4 biomes, the way they are unlocked is when you collect enough hearts with previous biomes. Hearts are obtained when a biome levels up through filling up a gauge at the bottom of the screen. When you level up or chop everything in your way, you enter a special mode where you're temporarily stronger and faster. Lastly you have bees that are your helpers. They too can be made stronger through the same skill tree. The game has adorable visuals and sound. I was initially drawn by them without giving the demo a try. The gameplay itself is addictive, it felt like I was in trance and couldn't let go until the game was complete. The progression system in terms of unlocks and currency are pretty much perfect. The UI works fine with a controller. I like that you can select to auto-attack. It's off by default but it felt like the game benefits when it's on better. The one thing that did stand out is how there are massive slowdowns or stutters the further you are in the game. It seems like the system can't keep up with the effects or your speed/strength. I don't remember experiencing this with any of the incremental games I've played. What the game also does is largely been there and done that. The Eternal Woods is a fine game and worth playing if you're looking for the next incremental game. The price is very sweet when it's around 3 euros, it's hard to complain for what you're getting. It took me less than 2 hours to complete the game and get all the 3 achievements. You're basically tasked with getting all the hearts fully.
Simple incremental game that is worth more than its price!
Short fun incremental. Worth your bucks! You get what you see in the trailer.
The released game is more advanced than the demo is The beginning is a slow burn, but it rapidly becomes a machione of combos
Yes I would recommend this game, one of the better ones for sure in the incremental genre, addictive and fun.
everything is done well but there's a bad apostrophe, 2/10
