Slendrina Remake

This review is coming from someone who is (as sad as it may be) genuinely, a big fan of DvLoper and the Slendrina/Granny series. I got into them back in 2018 when I was really young and the silly and corny charm of the series just really stuck with me, even to this day. So when I saw that a Slendrina remaster, even if fanmade was coming, I was quite excited. Unfortunately.... this is rough.... Its quite clear that these devs clearly didn't really understand the appeal or aesthetic of the original game. Some of the ambience is REALLY good, it was genuinely quite unnerving whenever there was the distant chiming, and I thought the sounds of footsteps, whispers and wind only heard far away from you helped to build suspense, but there are wayy too many jumpscares constantly that just take away all of the charm and subtlety of the original The Celler. There are also some gameplay mechanics that are pretty annoying, the Lighter going out was cool at first, but not when it happened every 2 seconds and you had to fight with the scroll wheel to get it to work, this game must be unplayable on a track pad lmao. And overall, the game despite being linear, has SO MUCH BACKTRACKING CONSTANTLY. If it wasn't for a single, random playthrough video I'd have no clue what the hell you're meant to do, especially at the end with the Paintings. And the gimmick of having to drag LMB to open and close doors was cool at first, but barely worked half the time and was just insufferable. Don't support this game. Especially since DvLoper has nothing to do with this and I'm not even sure why Steam allowed this in the first place?? There's an easter egg with the horrible Granny design from that other remake game on Steam, despite this being under another developer and publisher, apparently. Either these dodgy devs trying to avoid potential issues, or just double layered Plagirism lol.

Слендерина Ремейк разочаровала. Несмотря на то, что игра создана на Unreal Engine 5, визуальная часть выглядит слабо — освещение плоское, текстуры не впечатляют, атмосфера ужаса не чувствуется. Скримеры банальные, предсказуемые, и не пугают. Геймплей однообразный, управление местами неудобное. От проекта на таком движке ожидаешь куда большего. Это ремейк, но ощущается как сырой прототип.

абсолютная дристня, любой 7-ми классник сделал бы лучше. Короче не покупайте эту игру даже при скидках, вообще не рекомендую
