A really cool game with a cool lore and a nice gameplay. The whole game is pretty easy even on expert, but its still fun to play. The collectibles are really nice due to containing more lore about the world. The story is pretty nice too, Its kinda typical but still not boring. The cutscenes´ style is pretty cool even though its pretty hard to read everything, even for me. All in onre a really nice game. I can highly recommend it.

The Esoterica: Hollow Earth est un jeu point & clic de style HOG, dans lequel nous incarnons Stéphanie, qui va devoir sauver le monde et partir sur les traces de son grand père disparu. Pour cela, elle va devoir se rendre dans les profondeurs de la terre, jusqu'au continent perdu d'Agartha et mettre un terme au plan diabolique du comte Stauffenberg. C'est un très bon jeu, avec une histoire intéressante et intrigante. On y incarne à la fois Stéphanie et le grand père. On pourra cependant lui reprocher des cinématiques pas très jolies, faisant contraste avec la beauté des décors du jeu.

It's nothing special. It's one of those typical hidden object games that has the same ridiculous logic like throwing away perfectly good items even if they're still useful and finding a list of items in hidden object minigames only to end up using one of them. But I write this negative review due to the fact that this is the first time I refuse to 100% one of these cheap hidden object games. This is because of the fact there's an achievement that expects you to watch all cutscenes which seems simple at first, but it doesn't tell you that if you leave the game, the achievement breaks. And guess what, this game is prone to crashing randomly. So to get the achievement you have to play through the whole game in one sitting while fighting the urge to skip cutscenes and prey to god the game doesn't crash because if it does, you have to start again from the beginning of the game. I also noticed some other problems with the game such as some objects having very bad hitboxes so some objects you click on doesn't actually pick it up and some dialogue not playing when it should. I also noticed the hidden object minigames straight up just gives up hiding the objects on the list in drawers and things like that not long into the game, The ending is terrible too. I literally said out loud "Wait, what happened? That's it?". Usually these HOGs end with a boss fight of some kind where you have to complete a puzzle to beat the final boss but this game has you find the main antagonist and suddenly BOOM, game ends. The only good thing I will say is the artstyle. I like the painting look of the cutscenes. But I can't recommend this, especially if you're a completionist like me.

for the price it s a nice afternoon experience. played it with my nephew and we had a blast. for some reason the voice acting stops halfway through, like they run out of money to pay the actors. so i had to read it for him, don t know if it s a bug. very strange story is reeeeally rushed after the first act, but the kid did not mind. he got the closure he needed, just wanted to see more of the underworld. nice artwork relatively fun easy puzzles ok voice work, for as much as we had it present run of the mill hidden objects gameplay it has its charm permanently on sale for a buck or two, which is pretty fair
