The Esoterica: Hollow Earth

К плюсам этой игры отнесу разве что красивый арт, причем и в сценах поиска ничего в одну кучу не сливается, все предметы детально прорисованы, в общем глаза ломать не придется. Минусов же для меня хватило: странный перевод в сценах поиска заставлял искать совсем не то, например рубин за место сапфира или лейку за место воронки, сюжет клишированный особенно очередной "друг который в итоге не друг" и скомканная концовка. Головоломки в целом простые(порой слишком), но иногда подглючивали, а тому кто придумал "соедини точки" надо вообще по рукам надавать за такое.

It was a hard HOG. Some of the objects you had to double click and slide down. It was the puzzles that killed it for me. There was an everlasting array of puzzles. All types of puzzles. The hidden object aspect was easy. The details of a few these puzzles were mostly unknown to me. There was a coloring book page you had to figure out witch of five colors went where in a puzzle that had probably 50 pieces of a mystical creature in the jungle full of various flowers of various colors. You have to search for gold cards for information. Over twenty of them, mabye i missed one, but that's what you had to use for puzzle reference otherwise you need a guide.

Great little HOG the ending was not what i expected but regardless nice graphics and easy game play recommend to buy on sale

90% worth getting for cheap, but be forewarned: some search words are mistranslated to English. They wrote "Watering Can", when the object was a Funnel. Still good art and puzzles.

It's nothing special. It's one of those typical hidden object games that has the same ridiculous logic like throwing away perfectly good items even if they're still useful and finding a list of items in hidden object minigames only to end up using one of them. But I write this negative review due to the fact that this is the first time I refuse to 100% one of these cheap hidden object games. This is because of the fact there's an achievement that expects you to watch all cutscenes which seems simple at first, but it doesn't tell you that if you leave the game, the achievement breaks. And guess what, this game is prone to crashing randomly. So to get the achievement you have to play through the whole game in one sitting while fighting the urge to skip cutscenes and prey to god the game doesn't crash because if it does, you have to start again from the beginning of the game. I also noticed some other problems with the game such as some objects having very bad hitboxes so some objects you click on doesn't actually pick it up and some dialogue not playing when it should. I also noticed the hidden object minigames straight up just gives up hiding the objects on the list in drawers and things like that not long into the game, The ending is terrible too. I literally said out loud "Wait, what happened? That's it?". Usually these HOGs end with a boss fight of some kind where you have to complete a puzzle to beat the final boss but this game has you find the main antagonist and suddenly BOOM, game ends. The only good thing I will say is the artstyle. I like the painting look of the cutscenes. But I can't recommend this, especially if you're a completionist like me.
