Игра супер!!! Я проиграл крысе в сухую)
Is this the greatest game ever made? No. Is this a good game? Dubiously. Do I enjoy it? Yes. Perfect for people who want to play open world RPGs, but don't like modern conveniences such as intuitive controls or cohesive art design.
I decided to play through the entire Elder Scrolls series from the very beginning, and this game was first on the list. It is free which is increadibly nice. When I first saw it, I though maybe it is because the game sucks or it is barely compatible with todays technologies. But to my surprise, the game turned out to be genuinely good and engaging. I spent 80 hours completing the game, and the whole time, my friends poked fun at the graphics. I can't blame them though, as I laughed as well when I first downloaded it. But after some time you just get used to it, and from some point even start enjoying by different choices of art that developers used for different provinces. The gameplay is suprisingly rich. To be honest, I didnt expect the game from 1994 to be so interesting to complete. Some may find it boring though, to go to dungeons every time or to look for the inn every time you enter the city at night time. But as a person who finished the game, I can assure that the problem is actually in the lack of knowledge. Game has far more mechanics than many might think. I accidentally chose the Acrobat class, which meant I couldn't use magic and was limited to short bows/swords, and leather armor. Still, I had a lot of fun exploring the game's various features. The main issue with the game is the community. It is small, so it is hard to find one big guide telling you what kind of adventures and abilities await you if you just decide to try your luck with this wonderfull game. At the end of the day, as of 2026, the game is still playable, and let me tell you, you absolutely should give it a week or so. 10/10

Super difficult game to recommend because it's honestly really clunky in the modern day and not a good role-playing experience, but it has some pretty kickass dungeons. Plus, when you finally hit a character build that works, it feels really cool to tear through your enemies. If you enjoy dungeon crawls of any kind and are willing to remap the controls, this game is definitely worth a try, especially if you're an Elder Scrolls fan. It doesn't hurt to see where it all started (and, if anything, it might make you appreciate the direction the series ended up going that much more.)
The Elder Scrolls: Arena

Absolutely amazing game! I just did my first playthrough electing to go in blind, and it is honestly the best RPG experience I have had in a very long time. It is crazy to think that this hit the market in 1994, from procedurally generated dungeons/wilderness, to spells that literally allow you to pass through walls. Having experienced Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim I chose my go to race/class Breton Spellsword as I prefer versatility over a static archetype, plus I like playing as short characters *chuckle*. Though I had to look up a few riddles "the only part I broke the blind playthrough with" it was a true joy figuring out the games mechanics, from dropping off equipment for repair and logging the smith's location on my map for pick up later, to figuring out where the palaces/mages guilds/taverns/temples are identified, even the small nuances like being attacked in lawless cities/towns at night or that most citizens go indoors and establishments "except taverns" close at night forcing the player to camp until morning making the day/night cycle actually matter. Different biomes for each region, events that spawn year around in the different regions "Some even affecting weapon prices", random side quest in the multitude of taverns/palaces spread out across Tamriel and that is another thing the entirety of Tamriel is at your fingertips its not focused on one region like the other games, its insane how big this game is and how much content it is filled with. Well time to go try out Daggerfall!
