This is disgusting. I understand that The Division is not for everyone, but making it into some kind of mickey mouse arcade shooter is not the right direction. Tom Clancy is rolling in his grave. You should be ashamed of yourselves Ubisoft. If you enjoy completely broken menus, and everything being locked behind a microtransaction this game is for you! Don't wait! Play *Free* Today! Also enjoy an ADHD experience of a story?!? I guess...
this game is not what you think it is. its a mobile version of the division added to steam. moving from cover to cover is a single button press. the motion is non interuptable. the combat is ment for mobile simplisity. this is not the division. this i a microtransaction sim with elements of a game you used to like to try and make you sibnk money for nestolgia. the reality is it just pisses you off and makes you look up defiance for pc on google and enjoy the best ps3 era game ever made

It's male or female, not 'Body Type A or B'. Ironic that we need to change the way society speaks so we don't offend less than 1% of the population. People like me are apparently the hateful ones while the people who try and change the language for these people who need help are perfectly happy to see them mutilate themselves so they'll never reproduce, even if it was just an issue they were going to get over. I'm sure Tom Clancy is spinning in his grave with what they've done with properties under his name. Oh, the game itself? Buggy mobile Ubi-slop. Cutscenes hang, missions can't be started for mysterious reasons.
this is the same division 2 but they have a new fund from china I think to make a same game same story graphic not perfect anymore all of this I tell u short sentence "this is a same game like a division 2 before graphic so weird"
I am writing this after 125 hours of play time. The game is basically about spending hundreds of hours running the exact same mission (cause it's the fastest) to farm a piece of gear with literally 5~6 layers of RNG to get the "correct" one that is kinda usable for you class by unloading headshots into a boss's head continuously for literally 4 minutes because there is literally zero gameplay boss design mechanic in the game so the dev just pad it with unhealthy amount of health and calling it "difficulty" & gave them a different skin so they are "different". If you find that fun, then you might like this game.
I have a lot of hours in Ubisoft connect prior to this review and can say it's a great free to play game. It's very well optimized and ran well on my 8+years old laptop, it has a nice story and fun shooting gameplay. There are quite a bit of monetization elements as in other free to plays, but I could finish the campaign and story without feeling pressured to pay. Fun shooter especially if you're looking for coop experiences that run on almost any type of hardware
Title: A mobile port that disrespects your time (and your inventory) As a fan of the previous games, I really wanted to like The Division Resurgence. However, the transition to PC has brought a lot of glaring issues to light. While there are a few positives, it’s currently bogged down by aggressive time-gating, messy UI, and mechanics that simply don't belong in a PC looter-shooter. Pros: Visuals: The graphics look surprisingly good, especially when you consider that this is essentially a mobile game port. Familiar Gunplay: If you’ve played The Division 1 and 2, you will feel right at home with some parts of the game. The core combat loop definitely captures that classic Division feel. Cons: Buggy UI & Constant Invite Spam: The menu interface is a clunky, touch-first mess that makes navigating on PC an absolute chore. Pop-ups constantly get stuck on the screen and are incredibly difficult to remove, sometimes because the 'close' button completely disappears. Worse still, you are constantly spammed with random team invites. If you are managing your inventory, you can easily accept one by accident because it pops up right over what you're doing. Cover System Glitches: The cover-to-cover movement is bugged. When snapping between cover points, you can sometimes get stuck in the environment. For example, trying to switch cover to a blue tank in a nest area caused my character to glitch out and become completely trapped. Instance Issues & Unwanted Teleporting: Selecting a "solo" instance doesn't always work as intended; you can frequently get random players joining your supposedly private session. Even worse, if you accidentally accept one of the spam invites mentioned above, the game can instantly teleport you away from what you were doing. On one occasion, I was yanked straight into the Dark Zone by mistake and almost died. Forced PvPvE Progression: Character progression is frustratingly locked behind the Dark Zone/PvPvE. Important upgrades like OS Protocols and Class Mods shouldn't force players into PvP if they don't want to engage with it. Abysmal Story Pacing: The narrative is incredibly poor. After level 16, the main story quests literally just ask you to "level up", and this repeats multiple times. Between levels 30 and 40, the storytelling gets completely lazy and non-existent, relying heavily on recycled map sections and copy-pasted missions. Artificial Progression Blocks: Progression is heavily locked behind limits on world events, aggressive XP nerfs, and crazy upgrade costs. As many other players have pointed out, the game scales your rewards down hard, making it feel more like a daily log-in simulator than a proper looter-shooter. Mobile-Style Crafting Timers: The crafting system is awful. Crafting a single item can take up to 15 hours of real-world time (or 7 hours 30 mins if you're in a clan). These mobile-game mechanics have no place here. Inventory & Storage Woes: The storage chest isn't actually a stash where you store your gear like in previous games; it functions instead as a mailbox. This is a massive headache because your actual inventory space is severely limited. No Loadouts / Custom Gear Sets: There are no wardrobe or custom gear sets. In The Division 2, you could effortlessly switch classes and swap saved gear layouts (mods, attachments, weapons) without having to manually mess around looking for items. Here, that quality-of-life feature is completely missing. Armour Weakness Mechanics: They’ve added a mechanic where specific weapons are needed to tackle weaknesses in enemy armour. While not terrible on its own, when combined with the severely limited inventory space and lack of gear sets, it makes inventory management a total nightmare. Heavy Monetisation: Echoing the most common complaints across other Steam reviews, the game is saturated with aggressive microtransactions, gacha mechanics, and loot boxes that seem purposefully designed to bypass the intentionally slow progression. Verdict: Unless you have an incredibly high tolerance for mobile-style time-gating and constant menu micromanagement, give this a miss. Just go back and play The Division 1 or 2.
The game launched with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥-up resolution bug where I have to click in unconventional spots just to select on-screen options. Because of this, I can't even change the game settings, since the icon is in the top corner of the screen but its clickable area is actually off-screen.
