Are you a fan of certified soft bois? The charming ones who hide behind charisma use affection and exaggeration as a shield? Do you love finding the most sarcastic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the series and saying, “my love?” Yeah. This is the game for you. It’s also fully voice acted, and everyone they worked with has done a beautiful job. I love the voices for each of the characters and they fit so nicely. The story is a slow burn. It takes its time unfolding (although if you put it into context, all of this only really happens over the span of… what, a few weeks? It might feel slow, but that’s because we’re spending a lot of time with the characters. And even though I’m more engaged with some than others, I wouldn’t count that against this; but opinions differ. It does lack a little bit of polish (typos here and there, incorrect grammar, etc.) but it honestly wasn’t bad enough to throw me off. Now, for the things that might dissuade some. Compared to the newer games from the studio (primarily the ADWD duology) there’s not a ton of character choice. Much of this comes from the fact that we’re playing a set protagonist. Any dialogue options or otherwise are pretty much direct influences on your romance route. And, alright. The MC, Raen (bless him, the sweet boy) is quite sheltered and also probably a little bit too trusting. He also fades into the background for quite a bit during the final third of the story—there’s more focus on side characters and the backgrounds of your chosen love interest. Ultimately, I really enjoyed the tale that TDS tells. I love the humor in it (although I think I may just love Leos) and the plot we find through worldbuilding (although a little predictable) is still pleasant nonetheless. I think the best way to enjoy the story is to take it in small pieces and give it time to sink in and simmer.

I am so glad that I got to experience this piece. English is not my native language and I still enjoyed reading the chunks of text lol. The storyline is very intriguing, and the emotionally charged parts are well-written. The general story ending could be more completed but it doesn't hurt as it is. I really like how you can tell they put thoughts into character building, it was fun to learn about each of their personality and being able to get their different charm points. Not to mention the stunning visuals and the full V.A. (every single line?!). More people needs to play this! It deserves it and also because I can't find crumbs ANYWHERE p.s. Leos the man you are... at first I didn't feel specifically drawn to any option but once I saw something in him there was no going back...
Amazing visual novel! The story was well paced, and interesting. I was never confused on what to do, and the plot points all came together well. The characters are all unique, and feel real. They don't come off as flat, or one dimensional at all. The art is also absolutely stunning throughout the entire game, and the voice acting is very well done.
I really liked playing this visual novel. It was funny and mysterious. Always trust on two and a half studios to give us amazing stories. I don't think I have a favourite between the three boys, they all captivating in their own way.
If you love visual novels and yaoi, then you gotta experience this story, I highly recommend it. Captivating plot and world building with some of the sweetest romance arcs woven in. I haven't been able to stop thinking about the characters since I put this down. I hope to see more stories set in this world from this studio!
bought this game on a whim and ended up really enjoying it. i have to especially commend the vas for leos, illran, veras, morwen and sylvir. the story was interesting, though some of the characters moments' at times were a little cartoony and kind of took away from the gravity of the situtation. but! the game still held onto its heart, and i really really wanna know more about the world of vidis and beyond! (toggen sounds cool.....) i hope the developers do more games in this setting :D (and give us more cute boys to romance....)
Jogo incrivel, maravilhoso, magnifico, lindo, não tenho palavras para esse jogo, ele foi divertido, cativante e MUITO interessante de jogar.
Interesting story and good romance choices
a really great visual novel whether you're new into VNs or not (i'm fairly new) the story is super interesting and complex but not difficult to follow, the worldbuilding is great and the voice acting is really the cherry on top, overall a super immersing VN i am a completionist in VNs and i played through all the routes and i will say that i thoroughly enjoyed all 3 love interests' stories and even the side couples, all the characters are well fleshed out and i love how every route brings something new out in certain characters also the art is super gorgeous but that is to be expected from two and a half studios <3
Okay, after 100%: This is a really good BL VN, I throughly enjoyed all the characters. They are such wonderful gay people. Leos is wonderful. (also oh my jesus christ that voice actor, 10/10). If I had to say anything was my favorite I'd have to say it was
the romance between Veras and Illran
, maybe just because a limited resource we aren't all knowing about, but I was really touched by their ending and backstory :). All of the good endings were very nice, they're not subversive, I called them within like 10 minutes of meeting the characters, but that doesn't make them any worse. All endings are tragic and heartwarming and it kills me inside a bit that
Cyne's ending is the least completed, although to be fair you do meet him last
. All of the bad endings are truly heart wrenching. The game does a admirable job with allowing you clear choices of who you're going to romance without it all just being the "Kiss this guy" option. And also does a good job of guiding you to the good endings. I also truly enjoyed
the romance between Caspian and The Amyl
. It was very funny and cute, in fact, that's what I'd most describe the game as: funny and cute. That's what it's going for, and achieves very effectively. Most criticisms that I would have are effectively compensated for by the fact that, if implemented it wouldn't be the same game, and would probably lose a lot of what makes it so good. With that out of the way. I only have two little criticisms: 1. I wish Raen would look at the person he's speaking to and not at the camera. It's really creepy. Literally any angle that isn't straight forward would be amazing.
They fix this with the outfit change halfway through but that just transfers the curse to Fawn, and Cyne to a lesser extent.
2. I wish we had gotten a few more scenes with
the yuri between Raen's mom and the one-armed girl
, it's a BL game so I don't really know what I expected, but it did feel a bit unresolved It's cute, it's sad, it's heartwarming, overall a very good game I enjoyed immensely :) Play this game if you like BL. Don't if you don't.
