Played it on steamdeck. The game is super janky looks pretty bad like Unreal Engine slop. Performance isnt great on steamdeck with default settings floating around 30-40 fps. Game seems to be built around parrying/dodging but it feels so unresponsive when trying to parry or dodge. Feels like they played Sekiro and wanted to make a 2D platformer with Sekiro mechanics but not as smooth. Game balance is also terrible on hard where enemies start to become sponges by the 3rd world and the Administrator boss is terribly designed where it can kill immediately and can't skip any of the cutscenes. I would say this barely is a metroidvania, game is split into around 5 areas with no cohesion and none of the abilities transfer backwards to explore or unlock secrets or materials. Has a skill tree that seems ok but if you screw up the skilling you get locked into a grind to try to get untellegraphed skill points (so you have no idea what you are getting next). Overall a 5/10 game, you can feel the jank in the cutscenes and the gameplay the moment you start, its ok in the fun and potential combos from the skill tree but overall it feels terrible. Bosses/minibosses are either HP sponges or a joke. Also a weird system where you need to rebeat bosses over 9 times to unlock tools to replay more bosses? Edit: Finished the game on hard, final boss is BS had to abuse devil form transformations to tank through and do damage. Totally unreasonable boss that allows you so few opportunties to do damage and so much HP and random damage possibilities. Game is still 5/10 for some reason they decide to lock you into an area with only the boss and a shop keeper and expect you to just keep trying the boss, instead of giving players a grinding location to make themselves as powerful as possible for the final boss. Terrible game balance and design, repetitive game play and for some reason burns through the battery of the steam deck (probably 3D for unreal engine). Also several boss fights i got crashes and one guranteed repeatable crash area (walk through the 3rd world final area boss arena and it insta crashes). Not recommended feels like a grindy waste of time most of the game with like 3 good boss fights.
nice game
Awesome game. 100% recommend this one, cool aesthetics, very good Sekiro like combat, competent metroidvania, lots of fun!
it is a great game but sadly it does not get enough publicity, so a lot of people do not know about it.
I was pleasantly surprised by how good this game is. It's a metroidvania with some souls-like mechanics with very satisfying combat and a unique skill/stat tree system. The story, dialogue and voice-acting are very cliche and cringy but the gameplay makes up for it.
The best souls like metrovania I ever play 10/10 please make more of these games every was smooth about this game and the story was very great and loved it
除了动画僵硬以外,别的没什么问题,战斗也不错,而且随时可以洗点
