:) ENGLISH: So, to begin with, the game has a lot of potential for improvement and I'm trying to express my opinion in constructive criticism. I like the game itself. It has a goal and atmosphere. In terms of gameplay, it's not too dark or too light and the levels are also OK! Items are also well changed or in other places depending on the difficulty, but there's still room for improvement. Positive: - Atmosphere is good and also oppressive! - Objects are clear and actually easy to remember - The idea of running away is interesting (can be improved) - Graphics are very nice and fit in very well with the ambience - For a freshly released game, it runs very well - No bugs so far! - You have a body and no invisible hands or no body. I personally think that's very good!! Negative: - There are no settings, which could possibly stop people with a less powerful system from playing the game. - There could be a few more objects, and/or there could be more items missing (max. 3). - Jumpscares are nice, but they either come too often or repeat too often throughout the levels (variety). - The first 2 levels have some of the same "jumpscare" sounds!! (variety and level-specific sounds) Neutral: - Maybe a note function where you can make little notes about the objects, for people who forget things quickly - If you make the wrong decision, add different "kill" animations, preferably from the same person! (for example, that they jump on you) - Maybe small collectibles that appear completely randomly and are also level-specific, with achievements (not a must) - The first level should also always be different. By that I mean that the first level is not always the same, but that something else (max. 3) is always different! - The RUN scene, maybe add some quicktimes, but not a must. Maybe add some jump scares there (variety) - Maybe a small moving animation as a "paranormal" so that the player is a little distracted and asks themselves, was that there or not and in that position (event when looking at it) Overall, on average you finish after about 1:30:00 hours and feel like you've seen everything. There's a lack of variety that makes a person stay with the game longer and not give up after the first level. Your game has potential and can of course do much, much more than it currently does. Of course I note that the game only came out on October 24th and it still has a lot of content to offer. I'm excited to see what you'll change in the future or what content will be added! It's not a bad game and you should test it/play it yourself and then form your own opinion! :) I hope, of course, that you see this as constructive criticism and not as bashing or something similar. :)

This game is pretty scary! It has a tense atmosphere created by a combination of realistic graphics, well situated jumpscares and immersive sounds. It runs smoothie, I didn't encounter any bugs and the levels (difficulties) are well calibrated - you might feel the first level is too easy, but you'll get to the last one and you'll surely die a few times. The only drawback is the lack of settings, it would have been ideal to be able to disable the head bobbing. Although it's short, it offers you an adrenaline shot experience and maybe a little motion sickness. Here's the full gameplay: https://youtu.be/62qtA29qF-U
good game very pretty protaganist. bought it for the female didn't know what i was getting into. wish there was full controller support, in game you have support but not at main menu or when you die. also wish we could play in 3rd person view. as you are stuck in first person only. this is like one of those camera security games with "ghost anominaly" just that you are in first person and in a dark room. you need to proceed to green exit if everything is the same, go back to red exit if something is different. do this 17 times and you win. there is 3 stages. so if you have good memory this will be easy for you. good jumpscares and worth the price, I had fun.
This title is an anomaly-spotting game, though it lacks an overarching narrative to link the experience together. Instead of following a story, you simply select one of three available stages, arranged by difficulty, and dive straight into the core gameplay loop typical of the genre. If you’ve played an anomaly game before, the mechanics will feel instantly familiar. You begin in a environment filled with various objects, all of which you need to observe carefully and memorize. After leaving the room and entering a corridor, you start a new “loop,” returning to the same location. This time, your goal is to identify any differences from your initial visit. Something may have disappeared, shifted position, or altered in some other subtle way. If you detect an anomaly, you must retrace your steps and walk under the red exit sign. If everything appears unchanged, proceed forward under the green sign. What sets this game apart from others in the genre is its intense atmosphere. Whereas most anomaly games rely on subtle tension and quiet unease, this one plunges you directly into a full horror experience. Each stage is cloaked in darkness, illuminated only by your phone’s flashlight and the occasional dim light source. The restricted visibility heightens the tension, and the game supplements it with jump scares, such as sudden appearances of creatures, flickering lights, and eerie ambient sounds. Interestingly, these scares are deliberately misleading. They don’t form part of the anomaly detection loop; instead, they serve as distractions meant to trick you into making an error. A loud sound cue usually signals their arrival, letting you know they can safely be ignored. They can’t harm you directly, but if you make a mistake and choose the wrong exit, the zombie girl will catch you and end your run. Completing a loop, however, is fairly quick: you only need to make seven correct choices before sprinting toward the final light to escape. The three environments, living room, basement, and hospital, are standard horror fare. Despite sharing certain objects and a generally small scale, the stages have no real connection to one another. Even in near-total darkness, spotting anomalies isn’t too difficult; they typically involve missing props or added blood stains. Only the final stage poses some challenge due to smaller, less noticeable items. Ultimately, persistence guarantees success. Each time you fail, the game show you exactly what you overlooked, allowing you to memorize possible changes and beat the stage eventually. Unfortunately, the entire experience is over quickly. All stages can be completed in roughly 30 minutes, and there’s no incentive to replay. There are no unlockables, achievements, or extra content, just a single, underwhelming ending text shared across all levels.
I would recommend The Dark Mind to gamer's that are new to the Anomaly horror genre. The game is fairly easy and not too scary. The atmosphere is neat and can be creepy but the game relies too heavily on redundant jump scares. For the price, it is worth picking up if you enjoy the genre.
I've played several games in the genre: while this has promise (even with the meager existing content), it's currently more annoying than enjoyable. I don't need to be reminded of the rules at the beginning of every round. I don't need the round announcement to *almost completely* obstruct my view. The cut-scene after a successful exit is unnecessary: it should be possible to smoothly transition to the next round. And the repetitive animation for the failure scenario quickly makes the entire experience tiring. I'm not sure I can say enough bad things about the jump-scares: consider removing them entirely and re-implementing after some play-testing. They hijack your controls and leave you disoriented: they're far more annoying/confusing than scary -- and I scare easily. And the heartbeat effect that follows is just a lingering reminder: at this point, I'd recommend you play without audio. And, last note: if ESC opens the menu, it should also close the menu. I'm going to add this to my update watch list and look forward to updating my recommendation! Best of luck.
A good debut game from Michal Deak! Nothing crazy, doesn't invent the wheel, but it is a decent play for the price. I liked the atmosphere, albeit the random jumpscares from the same 2 monsters got stale pretty quickly. I did appreciate how this game also shows you what anomaly you missed if you fail. I hope to see more from this dev. Had fun playing with my chat!
A fabulous realistic horror anomaly game where you must find an object out of place or something else wrong about the room. This one has some really realistic graphics and haunted house horror vibe. I completed all 3 levels, and accidentally glitched my way passed the 2nd level basement and beat it from stage 0 lol. Extremely fun game
It is definitely a game.
