The Creature: Escape Room

Even though this game got me extremely motion sick, its still a great game. The puzzles don't seem impossible and the creature is adorable with the noises he makes. Looks amazing in vr, please add a setting to get rid of some of the particles that move around and that may help with the sickness. I don't know, I have other VR games and wasn't made this sick in them. Wish I can choose to do a desktop version because I want to finish the game as it has a lot of heart. If you're not a person with motion sickness and like a cute little escape room game then grab this game. I will be keeping an eye on future updates for this game.

I'm using a HTC Vive, I'm stuck at the very first screen, I can't even get to the menu on the wall (new game...), no button on the controllers does anything. I don't see anything on the page tell you it's incompatible with VIVE, yet it doesn't work.

PROS: A few puzzles + Good ambientation + Low price CONS: To point you need to press trigger (it has to be the contrary) + Poor interations + Hands are ugly + Game too short (hope following parts will be longer) Played on Meta Quest 2.

Довольно занятная игра! Вы играете за детектива, который расследует ...я пока не выяснил что, так как я не терпелив и (не)много туповат для квестов. Но любители такого жанра, думаю, не разочаруются. Вся игра с упором на решение квестов, головоломок. Кроме того тут даже есть сюжет и история. Всю игру я ходил и разбрасывал вещи по комнатам и наводил сущий беспорядок. Иногда, ловил себя на мысли, что я дома. Тут даже сосиски можно жарить, посуду мыть. Только зачем? Возможно, это решение какого-то квеста..минуточку.. я пойду попробую накормить пришельца сосисками. Новая и необычная головоломка в VR про задабривание мальчика, чтобы выбраться с первого уровня. Геймплей можете посмотреть в этом видео: https://youtu.be/iNVy6wgml5Q К сожалению, я осилил только первый уровень и то с трудом, последняя головоломка была наугад и все из-за дикого укачивания спустя 10 минут. И из-за него я там и не смог оценить игру во всей красе. Если у вас слабый вестибулярный аппарат, то лучше не рисковать. Я обычно не страдаю такой проблемой, но бывает и такое, ведь в игре нет ощущения передвижения, да и возможности перемещаться телепортами нет (а если есть, то я об этом и не узнал, надо в самом начале спрашивать лучше). Но в целом я даже получил эмоции, от этого странного ребенка и возможностей бегать с вантузом по комнате. Но, к сожалению, возможности взаимодействия здесь очень слабые. Головоломок немного, но в целом они интересные, хоть и придется изучать всю комнату досконально. Если вы любите головоломки и хотели попробовать их в VR за небольшие деньги, то почему бы нет. Но если вас укачивает в инди играх, то лучше не рисковать пока что.

on sale for 0.99 and it was a basic looking, short escape room. a few nice little puzzles. i enjoyed it.

Played on RTX2060Super/Corei7 4770/Pico 4/wifi wireless The game itself looks great to me as I like low poly graphics. The puzzles itself is another matter, I do like escape room, but it looks like my mind could not get on the same frequency as the developers. Some puzzles are pretty straight forward, but others really need you to think like the devs did. Also it being a buggy game doesn't help, first time I had everything correct but the alien didn't come out of it's enclosure (maybe because I had thrown some stuff in the room on the floor), had to restart the game to get that bug fixed. And I had a few more points which I had right but nothing happened until I redid it again. At least it ran fine on my Pico 4 using Pico Connect, but when i tried it with my HTC Vive Pro a long time ago with the vive wand controllers or the Index controllers it didn't seem to work. Haven't retried it though. It says at the end that it's episode 1 and more will arrive soon, but as far as I know, there hasn't been any new episode. I bought it a long time ago for very cheap and I certainly would recommend it if it's on sale, but beware, you really need to be in the same mindset of the devs to get some of the puzzles, I sure as hell wasn't even though I had a good feeling of what I was supposed to do.

It's an ok game. Played smooth with no problems. Kinda cute and some of the puzzles gave me pause for a moment. Got it on sale for like $3 and change so can't complain.

I didn't go into this expecting much, and it wasn't much for what I'v seen. If you don't get stuck for too long on any puzzles , you can easily complete it in less than an hour. I do like the simplistic visuals and the general vibe of the experience, but it's not really long enough to call it a "game", it's more of a demo, which again, I did enjoy. I definitely would like to see some changes made in the future, like making the hands a physical object, so you can push stuff or open doors and cabinets by pushing the door or better grabbing, so you don't have to stick your hand into objects to grab them. Also I can not for the life of me figure out the last puzzle no matter how much I try. Ps. I'v seen a bunch of people say that the game makes them motion sick, but I didn't really have that problem, altho with the lighting and weird movement the game gets very uncomfortable too look at.

В игре интересная и местами трогательная история, она подана почти без слов. Три локации, в каждой выполняем определенную задачу, которую осознаем по ходу дела. Головоломки очень занятные, все довольно интуитивно и ничего лишнего. Понравилась игра душевностью и атмосферностью. Надеюсь, будет продолжение, обещанное в конце!
