I am usually not one to leave reviews, But after playing this game for a couple of hours it has become one of my favorites. I enjoy every aspect of the game. The story feels very original, the characters and game mechanics are unique, and I love the athmosphere. This game is cozy, yet it makes you think It discusses topics of relationships and politics and the choices you make affect the gameplay. I feel like playing this game is a very personal experience. You get to create your own cards, and I love how many possibilities the card creator offers. So if you're looking for a unique cozy game to play and enjoy the themes I mentioned previously, I woul highly reccomend you to play at least the tutorial! Tho just the tutorial alone is not enough to really show how much this game has to offer.
I liked it! enjoyed the genre, and the tarot card making
Wonderful game with lots of important choices and emotional moments. You geniunely feel connections with the characters and this sometimes makes your heart sink when making choices. A must play imo.
The cosmic wheel told me I'll replay this game multiple times.
This was a spellbindingly magical interactive novel. Everything from the characters to the writing pulled at my heartstrings. My choices truly had an impact on the world, and there's lots of replay-ability. Spoilers: My ONLY critique is how limited the endings are if you
don't consume Aedana yourself. I felt like I built up the entire coven as leader just for it to be taken away from me, but I suppose that's the point. The last card I pulled was to accept what you cannot control, which was frustrating when the message of the game felt like it was taking fate into your own hands.
Overall, I highly recommend this game to fans of aesthetically pleasing witch themed choice-based games!
I wanted to make sure I 100% this game before I wrote this review. This is the game that got me into gaming, without exaggeration, and now I game all the time...this one started it all. The storylines are beautiful, the concept and gameplay compelling, and wonderfully inclusive and magical. It is far from perfect, and completing the game completely now, I see it more than ever, but if you are considering playing it, and might possibly enjoy it...I could not recommend it more. This game means so much to me, and I wish I could play it all again from the start.
Eh. I wanted to like this game, I really did. However, the thing that ruins the game, in all its entirety, is the dialogue. You're telling me, a being older than dirt itself, says things like 'haha, cool', and 'nerd', after supposedly being imprisoned for like a bajillion years? Yeaaaaah, nope. This could've been good, really good. It just feels like a concept that doesn't take itself seriously, and why would anyone want to waste their time with that?
