No achievements, so to me the learning curve isn't worth it. It is fun with a Risk-like feel and another game from yester-year that I can't remember (but loved, and would play again if I could find it). Graphics are horrible, but they can't all be winners.
This is an old game. Not only that but this is an updated version (as in it runs on a modern computer without the need for extensive set-up; don't expect any graphic/sound/ quality of life updates) of what wasn't the best version of the game. I recomend this game as a clasic game and as a type of game that isn't being made any more. I would recomend buying it on sale though as this game is likely to be as much a history piece as a fun gaming experience.
Nice game but I wouldn't play it for hours. After 3 games I felt like I had seen enough.
Great, easy to play time waster
beyond stupid
Great game once you get the hang of it. Learning it all was fun, so you might want to skip the following except for the last line. The reason you have few statistics is, because you need to build something for them :) The card actions appeared like bad jokes to me at first, but they're usable if you have resources top right on the screen. Can confirm the crashes (Win7). Average every 25 mins, I estimate. So save often.
