a beautiful sadness, this is a very sweet yet heartbreaking love story and is worth the time to play
This game is truely a gem, because the story is well written and the plot evolution is pretty nice, but there are some things that salted the supper. The repeating minigames, the lack of translation in some dialogues, the many gapfilling sentences kind of disturbed the vibe of the game a little bit. The game mechanics aren't that overwhelming, but somewhat innovative, so I wish more RPG-type games would have these different minigames. Another plus to the game is the unraveling of the characters and their development. Another awesome feature is the menu: not overloaded, sorted and very well optimizable. Sadly I couldn't finish the game, due to a bug at the end, that made everything impossible to continue and even loading the autosave brought me to the point, where the bug occured. Would have wished to finish this game with a well ending.

Okay. I was surprised how good it is. It's a good story in it's own world. Similar vibes you are getting from short stories, comics from indie authors, short films. I'd even say that game format isn't best suited for this story but we need to trust authors about this. A lot of people was working on it and even if they were just helping a little - they are part of this. I'm sorry that i'm not talking about plot itself, but i'd really hope that people will experience it themselves without worlds or influences of others. GO TRY IT!
HOLYYY THIS IS SUCH AN UNDERRATED PEAKKK WHATTT holy moly amazing world building and plot buildup mane I genuinely love the character development of the mc as the time progressed. WOWOW OKAY yes I love torturing myself with more mxm angst everyday. this is literally worth more than $1... I can't believe that there are even some animated scenes inside the game IF ONLYYYY FATE WAS KINDER, omg they're literally my fav "maybe in another life..." troupe. PLEASE do try this game out it really deserves the love, this is such a hidden gem that I found completely by accident WAHHH
This looks like an interesting story game *for people who are looking for a story game*. The descriptions just says cleaning game. This is not a cleaning game. You are very rarely allowed to interact with the environment and it's very frustrating when you are. The story looks okay and I love the option to have a maximized window instead of a preset size, but this is not the cleaning game with some lore that was advertised. I wouldn't refund it if the store page description was accurate about what broad general content players can expect.
I think this game needs to raise it's price because that game wrecked me. Although the game's mechanic was repetitive and the same (not complaining, it was a chill task to just clean whist following up on the story), I loved the story so much I couldn't stop crying near the end. I do recommend it as it is such a beautiful and bittersweet story
I had an idea of what I was getting into thanks to the other reviews, but ho boy. Still definitely got some emotional damage playing this myself. We slowly unravel the story and the cleaner's character as well as develop his relationship. I didn't quite expect the majority of this to be dialogue, but it worked for me. The narrative flowed nicely and I got fully invested. I didn't mind the "repetitive" cleaning mechanics; they kind of fit the vibe, like that just being the cleaner's gloomy life. And they don't go on for too long before the story advances more in between, so it's totally fine. I had some errors pop up that files could not be loaded correctly, which I could "fix" by clicking ok and then immediately hitting X to open the menu a couple of times. A bit annoying, but at least nothing game breaking. Overall a great experience for a small price!
Such a heartfelt and emotional game, would highly recommend. So well made and I couldn't stop playing till I finished it cause I just had to know what was gonna happen next.
i'm not one for writing reviews, but i really wanted to leave one, so please excuse me if it's janky. i genuinely really enjoyed playing this. i didn't have any expectations going into it, but it managed to wow me in ways i didn't expect. not only did i not feel bored for even a second while playing, which is rare for me, this is also one of the only games I've played that have managed to make me sob like a newborn child the whole time while playing. while it not might be everyone's cup of tea, it certainly is mine. many thanks to all involved in this project for bringing such a wonderful story to life.
When will it be my turn to live in an apocalypse and discover that life is short and find my romantic other half who will destroy me? When it is MY turn? This is a visual novel through and through with a handful of simple to do mini games. The simplest mini game being clicking the space bar quickly to fill up another bar, with the most difficult being a series of button prompts that increase in complexity with a shorter period of time to finish them. There is no punishment for failing the mini-games. If you're looking for engaging game-play, this is not the game for you. Really enjoyed the story, as convoluted as it ends up being, mainly because the chemistry built between our two leads is phenomenal. They each have their own pretty strong personalities in being polar opposites of each other. Finding comfort in one another because of and in spite of the end of humanity. My only con in this game comes from the spritework. This isn't about how the sprites don't have much variation, but with the animations. In some very well written scenes, I'm completely taken out and have to laugh because of how quickly actions happen. Single frame animations that are so quick that it honestly makes the actions the characters are taking look like they've been burned and are jumping back from the flame. Doesn't help when the animations are seemingly only used in strong moments of character bonding. Takes me out of it when The Cleaner looks like he's spitting out the ice cream that he, moments later, says he ate the whole thing out of excitement. But truly this is such a small nitpick, I just thought it was funny. This was a great visual novel, especially for only a dollar. If you want to spend 2 or 3 hours enjoying a tragic romance, you'll have a good time.
