The WWI story where your goal isn’t to kill, but to survive. In the still trenches, three soldiers learn the harsh truth of war: reckless missions, digging trenches, collecting dog tags and ghostly whispers in the dark. Home before the leaves fall, they thought.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 25 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
THE CARIBOU TRAIL - Home before the leaves fall, they thought.
Far from home, Fisher leaves his quiet harbor town in Newfoundland to join the British war effort with his friends. They expect a short-lived adventure full of tales to bring back home.
What awaits them is not glory, but dirt, loss… and a touch of madness. The quiet gestures that hold a regiment together, the impossible choices, the weight of survival and... well, dubious stews no one back home would dare to call edible.
The Caribou Trail is a visceral, first-person narrative experience about a band of friends sent on some of the most unlikely missions of the Great War.
Inspired by real testimonies, The Caribou Trail blends history with fiction to portray a rarely explored front of WWI: Gallipoli, from the landing to the final evacuation.
Cut through barbed wire in no man’s land on a desperate reconnaissance mission, silence a sniper holding the line, and make noise during a chaotic evacuation. Each step is experienced through your own eyes.
Yet this is not about winning the war, it’s about enduring it. Explore the back lines, feel the weight of anticipation, stumble through the trenches, reclaim the dog tags of fallen comrades, and share stories with those who still have the strength to speak. Sit by the fire, share ghostly tales (that may or may not be true), and find warmth around the campfire.
When the time comes, you may choose to pull the trigger… or not. Every gesture brings you closer to the men who laugh beside you… and fall before you.
There is no score. No kill count. Only resilience, fleeting friendship, and the fragile hope of making it home.
War may take everything, but it also builds bonds.
You and your companions are not hardened soldiers, but ordinary men: fishermen, dreamers, storytellers; cooking fish’n’brews in battered pots, laughing at bad jokes, and clinging to one another when silence grows too heavy.
In the chaos, these small rituals become lifelines - reminders of who you are, and of who's fighting alongside you. What begins as survival becomes brotherhood, etched into memory long after the guns fall silent.
Gordon - Insufferable and lovable. Always the center of attention. He'll crack a joke or roast you at the worst moment possible, but he'll be there for you no matter what.
Lonnie - A whimsical, dreamy kid who doesn't belong, but still strives to do his best. What he lacks in military prowess, he compensates with his warmth and spirit. He'll even share a good spooky story or two to change the mood…
Fisher - You are the middle brother, constantly defusing (or participating in) Gordo and Lon's bickering. In the face of the war's horrors, you define Fisher's willingness to see things as they are, or instead delve into superstitious escapism.
These are the faces you will remember long after Gallipoli.
When night falls, the line between reality and imagination blurs.
Are the shadows in the trenches just tricks of the firelight, or spirits drawn to the living? In The Caribou Trail, folklore and psychological horror intertwine, echoing how soldiers made sense of a world that no longer did.
What you find may not change history, but it might change you.

Beautiful Game and a beautiful story. The entire game was full of ups and downs and tons of plot twists. Long story short I loved this game. I recommend this game to anybody who likes war games and anybody who enjoys story games.
PEAK
Buy the game. Its short but so so sweet, a story that feels just like the movie 1917 and has such a original feel.

I really enjoyed this game. It wasn't very long but it conveyed the horrors and heartbreak that plagued WW1. Without giving too much away ill just say it hit me hard and made me really think about the lads that actually did this stuff.
Wow, this was a short yet great story. I feel like this was what mixtape should have been, there was not much gameplay but it is not hand holding you at all. You really connect with the characters as the story progresses and all of them are likeable. This is truly a unique gem of a game.
Good WW1 story-based walking simulator. It's set during the Gallipoli campaign in Turkey and features the Newfoundland Regiment. You will cook A LOT of soup lol. Gets better by the hour, so stick with it until the end! Controls are a bit dodgy at times and navigating the camp and trenches from a first-person-perspective that doesn't feel quite right made me feel a bit dizzy at first, but you get used to it. I guess it just adds to the experience of being in the trenches. Sadly, you don't quite experience the horror of the trenches, and the war feels distant. There are a few memorable moments, but the story isn't the best. The characters are great and believable tho.
very good game, fire story good sounds cried a lil bit. overall great game
Great graphics, great music, incredible story. One of the few games that has brought me to tears. I highly, highly recommend to any history buff, anyone that loves a heart wrenching and thought provoking story and in general to all Canadians.
