Nice dark atmosphere and really good sound!

I'm going to leave a positive review for encouragement because I would love to see more of this type of game. This is very much my jam, it's always inspiring to see so much atmosphere squeezed out of such minimalism. The very simple models and crude effects actually work in the game's favor and perfectly suit the cryptic writing that makes you go in circles. With that said, the game really tested my patience in how slow it moves. Not that it shouldn't have very slow pacing, but the dead moments between areas loading and before cutscenes start to play are grueling especially when you're already disoriented and wondering if you'll ever get the point of the narrative. I kept going only because reading other reviews I thought I must not be far from knowing more or from the ending. It's a reluctant recommendation. Despite being short, it kind of stretched the limits of my attention. But as I said, I love this sort of authorial experiment with atmosphere and as someone who would love to try making one some day, it's a lesson in keeping things cryptic and minimal.
