The game is massively addicting. I love auto battlers so, there is a bit of bias with my review. However, I will do my best to give an honest opinion. Pros: Solid gameplay loop. Massive variety of different builds to try. Constant variety in synergies. Easy to jump into with a steady learning curve. Cosmetics (for the most part) are completely free to earn. Decent sized roster to keep you trying new things out. No REAL need to buy the additional characters outside of their unique item pools and abilities. Music is solid. Design and art style are great. Cons: Ranked isn't really fun as you get rolled by "perfect" ghost builds. Normal matches can also feel like ranked in the later levels. Halted cosmetic progression based on the above two issues. Because you face ghost players who tend to go for 100% optimization, it kills the incentive to try "fun" builds to stay competitive. Each additional character is priced a bit steep. Currently, they are $20 per character addition. Turning the game into a massive purchase if you buy them all. For some reason, playing the game for long periods of time causes memory leaks. Optimization could use some tweaking. To me this is the biggest issue as it hinders the games performance and forces me to reboot after a long gaming session. Voice line interactions are limited so you hear the SAME lines over and over again. Not a big issue but can be annoying for some. Some items and characters are a bit "overtuned" so you will see a lot of them with the same builds. All in all, it's a fantastic game. If the optimization was a bit better, I would dump more hours into it. I just don't like having to consistently re-launch after every match or reboot after long sessions. Give it a shot if you like auto battlers but be prepared going into it.
