The Assistant Season 1

I’ve only got 20min into this and so many crashes. The first 5 exception errors were before I even clicked on new game. Then about every 7 clicks is an exception error. TypeError: ‘bool’ Object is not Callable. This error arises when parentheses are mistakenly added after a boolean variable. So, definitely coding is bad. Game is not playable unless you save after every few clicks and restart when the exception error occurs. I keep trying to get further into the story, but it really isn’t worth the trouble. I keep hoping I’ll get to a point where the errors stop. Maybe the dev got better at code later on. ------------------------------ Update: OKay, it seems that the enigine on steam is compiled wrong. With some troubleshooting, In the game directory, I found .py and .pyo files were mismatched causing the error. I redownloaded the game, then deleted all the .pyo files, restarted the game and it regenerated the .pyo files. no more exception error since the .py and .pyo files now match. I'll change this review to an upvote for now and see how it goes.

This game is very complete, with a great storyline and excellent interaction with the characters. Here you find everything — incest, young girls, and a religious one. As I said, this has it all, and Episode Two is the same — without a doubt, the most complete game I have ever played. If I had to rate it from one to ten, I would give it a ten. I am looking forward to the release of Episode Three — I will definitely buy it. P.S.: I will copy and paste this variation into Episode Two since it is a continuation with the same characters and the same story.
