A memorable feast for the senses! The Artful Escape takes you on a psychedelic journey through the self-discovery and rebirth of Francis Vendetti, a teenage guitar prodigy living under the shadow of the town's folk legend—Johnson Vendetti—who also happens to be Francis' late uncle. I truly enjoyed the game and having such a deep, cosmic experience piecing together the makings of the real, unapologetic Francis. High-stakes rhythm game mechanics and platforming took a comfortable backseat as the immersion and characters (literally) took the stage—creating a pleasant balance of storytelling and satisfying audio/visual cues as you played along. Although the gameplay is brief, it is still very much satisfying. Highly recommend if you are looking for a laid-back game with an inspiring message, and straight vibes that leave you feeling like the coolest kid in the galaxy.

A vibrant space adventure drenched in audio and visual grandiosity. I wish it had more of a gameplay element, other than Hasbro's Simon with 5 buttons, but the game holds up without deeper gameplay. The story is sweet and inspiring and the sights and sounds are top notch. This joins a long line of games I have recently completed where I feel I must recommend you buy it on sale. It's a great piece of art, but $20 is fairly steep for a 3-4 hour experience. I don't feel you'd be wasting your money at $20, just know that you are paying a premium for what is best described as an interactive art piece or a movie game.
The visuals are the best part of this game. There are a wide variety of creatures and environments that make playing this game a treat. There are not any high stakes/consequences in gameplay, which is my jam but may not be for others. Very fun!
What a delightful little game. A musician must find his true self in the far reaches of the universe. The gameplay is essentially "Simon", but it's never frustrating. Essentially a series of interactive prog rock music videos.
