Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This was such a fun game that consisted of multiple genres rolled into one...part platformer, part adventure, part rhythm game. It tells the story of a young folk music prodigy living in the shadow of his famous dead uncle who everyone who everyone expects him to emulate. The issue is that he's not sure if that's the path he wants to take. Thus begins a psychedelic, super trippy, music filled odyssey through a weird alternate dimension where he meets all sorts of interesting characters that help him find his voice, purpose, and confidence. The art style is cute and colorful and fits perfectly with the theme of this uplifting story. It's not a long ride but it's very fun while it lasts.
In The Artful Escape, we follow a boy struggling to find his place on an audiovisually stunning journey of self-discovery. Those looking for extensive gameplay may come away disappointed, but anyone who appreciates creative ideas and charming, memorable characters is likely to enjoy the experience.

this game is so absurd and at times, absolutely ridiculous but yet so funny! the gameplay mechanics definitely need some editing, as they're very repetitive and at times you're just standing still waiting or just moving left and right jumping around. but it's really fun, and i like the message its portraying. 6/10

The software is a beautiful piece of art. It's not a game tho.

Well heck, I really enjoyed this game. I mean, it was less of a game and more of a whole experience. The story was charming, but what really stands out is the sound design and the visuals. This game would go absolutely crazy on psychedelics. 10/10. One note: it's not a long game, only about 2-4 hours, but like I said, it's more of a journey than something to get addicted to. Cheers.
OK First thing I want to say about this game is do not play this if you expect serious gameplay or challenge. Also do not play this when you expect a deep musical revelation or something. This is not what this is . The Artful Escape is a very chill walking sim with a few simple platform jumps and simon says music key "boss" fights. You basically mainly keep running into 1 direction while jamming your guitar and stop when there is a very clear sign you can interact with something or someone. A very big negative I want to mention before the glory: There is a game breaking bug in the little game play there is. During the music game the key strokes register (i.e. you can see the proper color light up) but the game does not respond to it, so it did not continue, despite hitting the right button. Thank goodness a few checkpoint restarts fixed this for me. It happened twice at the last 2 "bosses"in an otherwise flawless game. I see this bug has been around from the start, (2021) and it has clearly not been fixed yet. Forum checks taught me that this has been an issue since 2021. ALMOST DOWNVOTED FOR THIS DUE TO SLOPPY / UNCARING DEVS. Still worth the 5 bucks on Steam sale, and here is why: What a trip!! I enjoyed every bit of it! Just sit back , relax, move to the right and be surprised on what unfold the next field. I totally dig the art style and the psychedelic flow. I was actually glad the gameplay was superchill. I just wanted to enjoy the non sensical conversation , the trippy background, nice riffs and the nice pace. Good graphics, decent story , original , funny. Excellent for half a day of relaxing fun.
What a surprise, I really enjoyed this game! In my humble opinion, this game is FAR better than Mixtape. I love the art style, the music integration, the story, and the characters. The only issue I experienced were a few technical ones. On my RTX 5070ti, I was experience slight Frame Rate hiccups. I thought that this might just be my 5070ti, but when I played them game on my Desktop RTX 5090 PC, I experienced the same thing. Additionally, there were a few times where the dialogue of characters failed to appear. Characters lips would be moving, subtitles will show, but no sound coming out of their mouths. These technical issues were not frequent and never took away from the gameplay experience. If you're looking for a short, narrative, musically driven game then check this out. And, by no means, think this is anything like Mixtape.
