Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 9 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

chat I know the answer stop backseating
i probably got this game for more than one dollar however it is not worth anything more than that: getting 5 hours of game play for completing every achievement, I feel dissatisfied compared to other puzzle games. I liked it enough to complete it

It´s a mess in the end!
Fun game, some puzzles were disproportionately harder and some were bordering on trivial so there was some spiky difficulty but overall I had a good time with it

不是哥们,就100关啊,打完就没了?
The Answer is 42, developed and published by Mens Sana Interactive, is a minimalist yet highly engaging puzzle game that challenges players to think critically while offering a calm and contemplative gaming experience. Released on Steam as well as other platforms like Nintendo Switch and Xbox, the game takes inspiration from the iconic phrase in Douglas Adams’ The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, providing a clever and thematic foundation for its mechanics. At its core, the game tasks players with connecting numbered tiles to form paths that sum to 42, creating a simple yet satisfying objective that scales in complexity across 100 thoughtfully designed levels. The gameplay in The Answer is 42 is immediately accessible yet strategically rich. Players select a tile and trace a path through other tiles so that the total of the numbers equals 42. Every tile must be included in the solution, and paths cannot cross, requiring careful planning and foresight. This combination of constraints transforms what might initially seem like a simple arithmetic exercise into a deeper spatial and logical puzzle, where each move has consequences for the remainder of the board. The puzzles reward patience and planning, and the sense of accomplishment after solving a challenging level is both immediate and satisfying. Visually, the game embraces a clean, minimalist aesthetic that emphasizes clarity and focus. The interface is unobtrusive, allowing players to concentrate fully on the puzzle without distractions. Colors are used effectively to differentiate paths and tiles, and subtle animations add a touch of polish that enhances the overall experience without overwhelming the player. Complementing the visual simplicity is a serene, original soundtrack that provides a calming backdrop, fostering concentration while maintaining a relaxing pace. The absence of timers, penalties, or competitive pressure ensures that players can engage with the game at their own speed, making it an ideal title for both casual and dedicated puzzle enthusiasts. While the game’s simplicity is part of its appeal, it does present some limitations. The core gameplay, while clever, can feel repetitive over time, especially for players who complete puzzles quickly. Some levels may present unexpected spikes in difficulty, which can be frustrating for those seeking a steadily progressive challenge. Additionally, the lack of narrative elements or additional gameplay modes means the game primarily appeals to fans of pure puzzle-solving rather than those looking for broader variety or story-driven content. Despite these minor issues, the mechanics remain solid, and the carefully designed levels provide a consistent mental workout. In conclusion, The Answer is 42 is a thoughtfully crafted puzzle game that combines minimalist design with satisfying logic-based gameplay. Its focus on careful planning, numerical reasoning, and pathfinding creates an experience that is both intellectually stimulating and relaxing. Although the game may not offer extended replayability or narrative depth, it excels as a concise and rewarding puzzle challenge. For players seeking a serene yet engaging way to exercise their mind, The Answer is 42 provides a captivating and memorable experience. Rating: 9/10
