About
1998. The members of Franklin High School’s dubious, under-equipped “Computer Club” break from precedent and take on a project: programming a world-simulator. Denise Novak, the ostensible club’s alleged president, anticipates the end result will be nothing special.
A point-and-click, story-driven interactive fiction game. Features an intuitive, contextual menu-driven interface that demands neither pixel-hunting nor parser-guessing. Expect a fair number of laughs and possibly some chills.

Awesome game by an awesome dude.
Lovely little piece of interactive fiction. Vaguely reminiscent of 13 Sentinels.
Compelling & interesting experience with a well-written narrative & plot. Gave me some Roadwarden vibes, though I don't know if this game had multiple endings. It let me explore at my own pace and I appreciate that I was guided through the story without feeling overly railroaded into decisions. Choices I wasn't meant to pursue redirected me in a cute, often funny way. Completed my playthrough all in one sitting (just about two and a half hours). Well worth the price, I almost wish I hadn't picked this up on sale, it feels like a steal at under $4 CAD.
A very nice, relatively short point and click/text based game. Very interesting story, definitely worth the price. (Charles Dickens could never! :v)
Definitely a surprising amount of work went into this both programatically as well as writing wise. 10/10 would recommend. Robert, if you read this, you're undercharging for this gem in story telling.
Still making my way through this one, but so far I LOVE the writing, and the characters' voices in particular, they're all so clear and distinct. Takes talent to write like that. Looking forward to completing this.
Cool text adventure. Good story. Recommended.
It was a fun experience! Reminded me of an old school point and click adventure, albeit with only text to read and interact with. Less of a choose your own adventure and more of an interactive story. I will admit that since I played the full game over two sessions, I got a bit lost on some finer points of the story and who was who and how they got there, but regardless it was a fun time. Best part about it was playing with the in-game computer, hands down.
This is a delightful, unique kind of text adventure with witty writing, enjoyable character interactions, and a plot that takes you on a ride while wrapping itself up in a satisfying manner. There are little puzzles and fetch quests along the way, written well enough to be fun detours rather than just busywork. Don't expect too much from the presentation - the visuals are very limited, and it has sound effects but no music. But the snappy but effective setting descriptions successfully set a scene and atmosphere and provide the right amount of context to imagine what's happening. I bumped into a couple of bugs, but nothing that made the game unplayable. It was a lot of fun as a story with a lovely little underlying thematic contemplation on the problem of evil and the concept of deities. You will certainly have a good time with it if you enjoy point-and-click adventure games and interactive fiction.
Short but sweet. A lovely text-based adventure game, and I'm always looking for more games that fit that niche. I hope the dev creates more things like this in the future, because I'd pay inordinate amounts of cash for the chance to play them.
