About
You have crash-landed on a lethal, radiation-soaked planet, and you are running out of time. A scorching sun that burns everything in its path is coming your way. Your only hope of survival is a massive mobile base too complex for one person to operate. You are forced to make a decision no human has ever faced: creating a crew of alternative versions of yourself.
But your solution may just become your biggest problem.
You crashed. You are entirely alone. The sun is a death sentence, and your mobile base must keep moving to outrun it. With no rescue coming, you must find a way to operate it, or you’ll die.
When the planet itself is your enemy, every second spent standing still brings you closer to ash.
To survive, you must move. To move, you need help. Forced to use the base’s advanced quantum technology and the planet’s unique resources, you must create The Alters: alternative versions of yourself. Brought to life by a supercomputer that turned your alternative life choices into reality, they are your only hope. They bring the specific expertise and capable hands you drastically lack, but they also bring their own human baggage.
A crew of ‘yourselves’ is a psychological nightmare. Every Alter arrives with distinct personalities, memories, and regrets. You aren't just managing resources. You are also a relationship manager to yourself, mediating conflicts and confronting your past choices lightyears from home.
As tensions rise, your Alters will clash over how to handle the mission. Keep them sane and keep them together, or your own egos will destroy your only chance of seeing Earth again.
Your rolling base is your lifeline, your factory, and your home. Customize and upgrade it to accommodate your growing crew. Research cutting-edge technologies, manage crucial life-support gear, and manufacture what you need to survive. Turn your base into a self-sustaining powerhouse capable of keeping both your crew fed and your systems humming.
You cannot hide inside the hull forever. To fuel your base and progress your research, you must step out onto the hostile planet's surface. Venture out into unpredictable anomalies and heavy radiation to mine essential resources.
But watch the clock, as every expedition is a high-stakes gamble against the oncoming burning sunrise.

A sci-fi masterpiece you'll want to revisit like a classic film. I was initially hesitant to pull the trigger on this one, buying only the base game at first. The absolute deciding factor for my purchase was the official Ukrainian localization—and I am so glad I took the leap. I ended up wrapping up both the main campaign and the Last Variable DLC, and every single cent spent was 100% worth it. 11 bit studios managed to build something truly special here—an incredible blend of high-concept existential sci-fi, base management, and genuine emotional weight. The Good: - Brilliant Core Concept: The idea of creating alternate versions of yourself based on pivotal life choices isn’t just a gimmick—it’s the beating heart of the game. The psychological dynamics and interpersonal drama among the Alters feel raw, grounded, and intensely compelling. - Breathtaking Landscapes & Atmosphere: The overall picture is absolutely stunning. The oppressive alien environment, the mesmerizing vistas, and the looming sun create incredible, unforgettable landscapes. The detailed, modular wheel-base looks and feels spectacular against this cinematic backdrop. - The "Last Variable" DLC is a Must-Play: If the ticking clock of the main story stressed you out, the DLC is pure catharsis. It gives you the space to breathe, research every single piece of tech, build without panic, engage with fresh mechanics, and experience another beautifully mysterious narrative arc. - Flawless Ukrainian Localization: Seeing official, high-quality Ukrainian text was a huge plus and the tipping point for my purchase. It shows immense respect for the audience, and the translation perfectly captures the nuance of the story. - Emotional Replay Value: Like a great film, this is a story that stays with you. Even knowing the overarching beats, the branching paths and alternate Alters make you want to return down the line just to see how things could have played out differently. The Flaws (Minor Quirks): - Jan can occasionally get awkwardly hung up on tiny pebbles or uneven terrain that he should easily step over. - Occasional micro-stutters occur during area transitions or heavy asset loading. - Alters sometimes suffer from minor pathfinding hiccups or slightly clip into base module textures. Verdict: None of these technical gripes take away from the experience in any meaningful way (though hopefully, the devs can iron them out in future patches). The sheer depth of the writing, the gorgeous scenery, and the satisfaction of building your self-sufficient hub completely overshadow the rough edges. If you appreciate thoughtful sci-fi, meaningful choices, and games that actually respect your investment, do not skip this. Easily a 9.5/10 (within its genre).

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A bit of Kojima's Dead Stranding and a massively playful 11bit base builder... Many routes to finish causes idea to play even more than 2 times
Honestly, just a good game :)
Game is really fun and has lots of replay value. Story can change every playthrough.
