Неплохой зачаток хорошей истории ... Странный проект, этакий текстовый квест и довольно короткий. Развить бы эту историю и сделать изометрический визуал вроде диско элизиум только в стиле оригинальном от этой игры, было бы супер. Пройдено 04.03.2026

At $10- usd this game is cheaper than a cheap hamburger and fries meal from the local fast food place. The best part of this game is the art. The setting is good for some lovecraftian fun, but things just fall apart after that. The story is kinda Meh, and the play is a lot...A LOT of going back over the same badly written (translated?) paragraphs hoping for a new option to pop up. Travel sucks as you are just bouncing back and forth between the same paragraphs and after a play through or two you just stop actually reading anything/ I found myself just looking to see if the paragraphs had changed size before clicking on to the next stack of paragraphs I had already seen. Did I have fun at the start? Yes. Did that feeling of having fun last? No. As a "Fast food" sort of game I think this is still worth picking up.

The Allure of Wanton Cove is a text-based adventure game where you play a detective on a missing persons case that takes him to the dark, dank, Lovecraftian island of Wanton Cove. Though there are spelling errors and the occasional continuity problem, for the most part, the story is pretty well written. You go from location to location in a small fishing village looking for clues in your investigation and the weirdness you see in just about every encounter. Along the way, you can choose to ♥♥♥♥ a bunch of different people and experience the madness of the strange island. The game has a gender transformation mechanic and different sexual encounters depending on how much or little you've transformed. I enjoyed it quite a bit, though I suspect it's not for everybody. *Images are uncensored and without mosaic

I think we all know why most people would buy this game, and it isn't just because of the Lovecraft pastiche. Unfortunately, it's designed for you to play out the dev's own personal fetishes, which are quite niche. Was interesting for about an hour, before the mechanics became clear and I don't enjoy being perversely punished for playing a game, so I'm out. Nice art. No technical issues. Some typos and plenty of anachronisms, but otherwise a decently-written pulp story. A shame. Not recommended.

Поставил бы нейтральный отзыв, если была такая возможность. Хорошо сделанная игра , интересная история и механика и т.д. Но не нравятся такие цуцванг-игры, когда что бы ты не делал, все твои шаги приводят только к ухудшению твоего положения. И по факту, лучше бы ГГ сидел дома и ни куда не вмешивался.

The game has cut content (New Game+ and another ending) respective to the original free itch.io version. Save your money and play the free one (not Redux one), cutting content should never be rewarded with money.

I had typed out a serious review, but unfortunately accidentally copied its steam page link instead of the review text when I went to double check for patch notes. I will not type it out again. TL;DR It's tragically unfinished. If Eldritch Sex Change Horsecock Transformation Horror Mysteries are something you can't live without, it's a decent story. Otherwise skip it. Edit: clarification

If you like this kind of horror and want an adult theme you should try it. I played through it twice and it turned out very different.
