The 18th Floor

Only two floors so far but they are really great, totally worth the asking price since it will probably take everyone at least 3-4 hours to complete the first time. Once the game is done it's gonna be the best Escape Room/Puzzle game ever. Visuals are fantastic and the idea of having a totally different floor every time you use the elevator is really cool. The most important part, the puzzles, is also great, they are logical, very well designed and varied, you won't get bored doing the same thing over and over. Some people complain about the inability to save and while that would be a welcome feature it only takes a couple of minutes to get to where you were before quitting the game once you know the solution to the puzzles so it's not a big problem by any means. On the negative side, objects sometimes fall off your hands when you move quickly, which is a bit annoying. Really looking forward to more new levels!

Habe mir das Spiel heute rabattiert gekauft und bin als Rätselfan mit einer gewissen Erwartungshaltung ran gegangen. Grafisch muss ich sagen ist das Spiel bisher sehr gelungen, auch was die musikalische Untermalung betrifft wirkt es sehr auf einen. Allerdings muss ich zum Sound sagen, dass er nach einer Weile ziemlich nervt. Steuerung innerhalb der Level ist mittels Teleportation und darüber hinaus einfach gehalten (sowohl Links- als auch rechtshänder sollten keine Probleme haben). Leider ist die Interaktion mit den Objekten nicht sonderlich gut gelungen, zB im zweiten Level findet man einen Brief und jedesmal wenn ich den aufgenommen habe war er kopfüber oder auch, dass Gegenstände hinter die Wand fallen :/. Auch gibt es kein Menü um Lautstärke/Grafik zu ändern (oder auch zu speichern). Habe bisher den ersten Raum hinter mir, dieser war von der Schwierigkeit her recht einfach. Man musste nur die Augen aufmachen und die Hinweise finden. Im nächsten Level ist es da schon etwas schwerer aber ich möchte nicht spoilern. Fazit: Aktuell gesehen ein ganz nettes Spiel ABER (und das ist ein dickes ABER) ist der Titel mehr als irreführend. Wer sich nicht die Informationen durchgelesen hat muss feststellen, dass es zwar "18 Floors" heißt aber im Augenblick gibt es nur 2 verschiedene Räume! Und bisher gibt es keine Informationen darüber ob, was, wieviel noch kommt und ob das dann umsonst ist wenn man das Spiel gekauft hat oder erst teuer dazu kaufen muss. Für Fans von Rätselspielen gibt es bessere Games, wer aber mehr Augenmerk auf Grafik und Immersion legt ist mit "18 Floors" durchaus besser aufgehoben!

Hallo zusammen, ich empfehle niemanden das Spiel zu kaufen. Ab Raum 3 sind die Hinweise ungenügend und ab 4 ist es verbuggt. Die Muscheln lassen sich nicht bewegen und beim Plattenspieler lässt sich die Schublade nicht öffnen. Und ein weiterer Grund, das Spiel nicht zu kaufen: Es wird seit Jahren nicht mehr fortgesetzt.

I wouldn't bother with this. This is a sad add on to a great game. The part with the circle of snakes is so finicky that after several hours of trying we have yet to get it to work. We have the right numbers. 8.2 hours wasted.

un jeu avec des enigmes juste horribles . Aucun indice et impossible à deviner. Une horreur et heureusement qu'on a que 4 etage et pas 18 . un vrai calvaire et l'auteur de ces enigmes devrait vraiment arreter de travailler ! Un gachis !

I am using an oculus rift s on a new laptop with an i7 and gtx 1060. the game runs fine but i can not turn right or left with either rift controllers. I can teleport and move objects but cant turn. Help please.

[h1]It's bad, guys.[/h1] This is quite a good looking game, and has some inventive ideas, but it's so horribly broken and illogical that I can't recommend it. Even for the few bucks I paid. Crucial puzzle items vanish from your hand into limbo, meaning that you need to start over. Essential objects simply don't always spawn. Puzzles don't always trigger the next phase after being completed correctly. On top of that, the puzzles in levels 3 and 4 defy logic in most cases. They're just broken-down trains of thought on unruly tracks, with a big helping of bad physical mechanics. The team clearly has some talent, and I'd like to see them take another run at the genre, but they need better quality control in terms of both QA and puzzle design.

[ + ] • Ein Point & Click/ Puzzle Spiel – vom Titel her ist davon auszugehen, dass die Entwickler 18 Escape Räume konstruieren möchten, davon gibt es aktuell 4 inklusive des DLCs • Die Atmosphäre ist genial, [spoiler] aber es kommt an keiner Stelle zu Gruselmomenten [/spoiler] • Sehr stimmige Hintergrundmusik • Grafik ist wirklich beindruckend [ - ] • Es gibt zu genügend viele Rätsel, die manchmal etwas zu hochgeschossen sind, für den restlichen Inhalt, es gibt wirklich eine nur minimale Story, die man sich an vielen Stellen selbst zusammenreimen muss • Das Spiel hat noch zu viele Bugs, in Form von wichtigen Gegenständen, die plötzlich verschwinden, in dem Fall sollte das Spiel De- und Neuinstalliert werden, da die Gegenstände nicht wiederauftauchen aber wichtig für die Lösung sind Es gehört nicht unbedingt in die Kategorie der Top-VR Games aber es ist dennoch für Rätsel und Point & Click Adventurer lohnenswert.
