Please Note: I bought this at summer sale with a very big discount - I wouldn't have bought the game otherwise, as in it's current state I don't think it's worth it. This is a tough one, and I wish Steam had the option to give a "neutral" review. As I have seen a lot of reviews about this game, I went into it as if TDU:SC was a spin-off game rather than a mainline entry and that is the direction I will be taking as the game does feel like a spin-off. First off, and I know I'm beating a dead horse at this point, but always online.. I appreciate the type of game TDU:SC is trying to be, but why hasn't the game been designed with offline mode? TDU 1/2 have had an offline mode from the get go, which is also the reason why those games can be played to this date. With the current implementation of online, you will rarely see any players anyway so why not just let me play the game offline and not bother with the online stuff? On that note, and this is a personal preference, if I'm racing in solo mode what is the point of me watching the AI do emotes after the race or show off their cars? I understand why in multiplayer, but in solo race..? Skip it. Let me play the game again dammit; this point can be applied to more than just the post race emotes, I feel like the game is constantly trying to stall me.. for example, why can't I just tap to skip an animation like entering an elevator? I've seen it once, cool, now let me get back into the game. All the fancy experience, reputation, cash animations post race? Surely you can just show it on a single screen.. TDU2 didn't even tell me how much money I won, yet I still knew how much money I gained from the race, and the UI navigation is speedy and I can be in next race in no time. Just so it's not all negative, let's look at a positive - the game looks nice in my opinion (optimization and game size aside, as those have already been mentioned many times). The textures are crisp, the car models are detailed (not as detailed as something like Gran Turismo 7, but still good!), and the map is very densly packed, and the characters are better looking than Forza Horizon (in my opinion). With that said, back to the scheduled show - the map.. I personally don't think Hong Kong works as a good Test Drive Unlimited world, as it feels too dense and too tightly packed - it never feels like you're properly leaving the city behind. I think a lot of players would have been happier seeing slightly less dense map, but with more diversity and variety of roads.. for example, sticking with the original theme, mainland Catalonia would've been a good option for the in-game world, providing a variety of flat, hilly, and windy mountain roads with beautiful views into the ocean. It would be familiar for TDU2 players, yet a nice departure from the mainly flat island of Ibiza. The reason why I originally referred to the game as a spin-off is because the foundations for TDU game are there - you have dealerships where you buy cars, you have a Solar Crown event where you need to win races to progress up the ranks and become famous. You can still open windows, turn on indicators, change radio stations, use the wipers, etc. But the game doesn't feel like a love letter to cars, instead it feels a little.. soulless? The UI fits the narrative and the modern Hong Kong setting, but it all feels like another generic racing game set in modern day. On the note of UI, can we please make the races stand out more from other icons? Maybe make them larger, give them some color, or something? It was really hard finding the race icons on the map, when the map is so tightly packed. Speaking of radio - the game has a full radio station system in the game, but for some reason whenever a race is happening you're stuck listening to something that sounds like 2010s dubstep.. why have the in-game radio if you can't listen to it during races? I think TDU:SC is the first game that does this. Aside from that, the radio stations have some variety and you might find some music that you enjoy. I have seen a lot of people mention the handling in a negative matter, but I have to say I've grown to it - it's not Forza Horizon level, but it works (on some cars, its a little bit of hit-and-miss).. when it works, the cars handle in a way that I can predict what they will do, I can catch slides, and drive well. Integration with DualSense is really good, originally it caught me off-guard, but I have really enjoyed using it and I feel like it gives you a better sense of control over the car.. especially when the triggers vibrate when you lock-up tires. Story is there, but I don't think most people play these games for the story. In TDU you arrive in O'ahu and you make your name by buying cars, houses and winning races. In TDU 2 you're a valet that failed at their job, so you get a pity pass into Solar Crown. In this game you enter the Solar Crown competition, I think that works and something expected from a TDU game. There few other things that are wrong with the game, but I'm glad to see that KT and Nacon haven't given up on the game, I hope that one day I can come back to the game, and geniuenly enjoy it.. but at the moment I can't decide whether to refund the game or not. Good luck KT.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

tres bon jeu en 2026 , de plus il tourne nickel sur des configues comme la mienne I5 9400 ET RTX 2060 SUPER 32 G DE RAM donc accessible niveau configuration , trés beau , fluide , perso jadore .
They need to fix "Tour de force" major glitch going on in that domination race 😂 It acts like you went the wrong way but no, it's just a bad glitch so TDUSC fix it already!
優化垃圾 其他還好
Słaba optymalizacja - spadki FPS bez powodu. Kiepska jakość grafiki - postaci wyglądają fatalnie. Modyfikacje pojazdów - minimalizm w tuningu aut (felgi, szyby, wnętrze, kolor+naklejki), niestety wysoki ping skreśla możliwość kupowania (wina serwerów). ;( Radio - fajne stacje, np. Retro FM.
Needs a lot of polish still, and I really hate the greedy 'battle pass' FOMO model! BUT the driving is really fun, the selection of cars is good, the map(s) is excellent, and there are a variety of activities, as well as rotating live activities to keep you coming back. I hope this developer doesn't get shut-down, and gets a second shot at a TDU title. Hopefully with a bit more work going into optimisation, and less into monetisation ;)
