Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

We heard you like games, so we made a game about a game! Terrain of Magical Expertise is a non-linear, story-driven RPG adventure, featuring an original turn-based combat system enhanced with various quicktime events. Your character is a player of a fictional MMORPG which rose to prominence during a (obviously just as fictional) global pandemic, which caused almost everybody to stay home and play games. The game is inspired by a popular animated webseries (but not to worry, you will enjoy playing it even if you have never watched it!) and features a full cast of voice actors, including talents from some of your favorite video games, YouTube channels, anime and cartoons, as well as charming animations and a huge world to explore, “TOME” packs 40+ hours of pure fun.

It's the year 2020, and a popular new MMORPG called "TOME" is hosting a special event with a huge cash prize. You take the role of a White-Hat Hacker, gifted a copy of TOME by a mysterious friend, who asks for a favor to try and take down some sinister Black-Hat Hackers, that are cheating to win the "Campaign of Champions" competition! Joining forces by chance with a guild of determined players called "The Dandy Alliance", you embark on a turn-based role-playing adventure to help your newfound friends achieve victory!

Customize your player-character with a variety of magical techniques, all executed via specialized quicktime-events!
A fully-voiced adventure, featuring 50 actors from some of your favorite video games, anime and cartoons!
Utilize hacker abilities to turn the tide against your cheating enemies...or cheat yourself, manipulating the game's rules!!
6 party member characters, each with unique skills that can combine together into "Team Attacks" that will devastate your foes!
25 stages to explore, with over 200 unique enemies to battle against in turn-based combat!
Branching narrative paths based on your decisions...as well as your victories and losses, resulting in multiple endings!
Inspired by a hit animated webseries “TOME: Terrain of Magical Expertise”

This was simultaneously a blast from the past and something fresh and way more relevant than ever. Thanks, guys, for making such a wonderful game.
Just super disappointing game. Pretty buggy the combat is fun but if you get stuck on a battle there is not levelling up all your stats are increased by items so if you just don't happen to have the best build for the battle you basically can't do anything. The writing and acting is incredible but that's about it. I paided to get my own character in the game and I didn't even make it far enough to see them. Just sucks

i love this game for very personal reasons and for very general reasons. firstly, the art and aesthetics mainly consist of a cartoony style, which has always been my favorite. the colors are in my opinion very easy on the eyes, and the scenery does not fall behind. for a game that revolves around turn-based combat, it keeps things fun by adding mechanics and quick-time events to each move, and the battle system is incredibly engaging. but i have to say, my favorite things about it are the music and the storyline; the arrangements fit fantastic with each region, and the problems were presented with are realistic. i like how it handles the topic of the main cast because, in the setting of a bunch of people playing a famous vr game, there really are no main characters. all of this considered, as well as my more personal reasons for liking this game, i cannot recommend it enough. if you like a slightly buggy rpg that looks like a cartoon with the music to match, with realistic characters you might relate to, then this is a game for you.
good as the series that it came from
The game is a bugged out mess, not to mention there's tons of broken mechanics, useless to fight enemies, annoying characters on top of worse writing and lack luster voice direction.
Jirard "the completionist" froze my game
i LIKE IT BUT THERES A GLITVH IN THE MANSON WHERE THE ENEMIES SPAWN ON TOP OF YOU AFTER YOU GET OUT OF A BATTLE IN THE MANSON AND ITS AN INFINATE LOP

very good
This kickstarted game is a hot pile of woke garbage. The characters and level design reminds me of vomit. Also, why have a turn based game without escape battle option. Forcing unnecessary battles, so tedious. Also, you can't do multiple saves on one playthrough. Sometimes, you miss important encounters or events if you press the wrong dialogue choice or not remembering what the npcs said because there no journal in game. Don't waste your time playing this game, you'll regret it!
