Short and sweet The combat is fun and easy to pick up and play, and each character is unique enough. The character and enemy design is just gorgeous and the music is great. My only issue is it’s not very long, and there is nothing to do after you beat it except replay with a different character.

A competent and colourful beat em up with a fun variety of characters, enemies and level design. I'd recommend it if you're a fan of the genre, especially on a good sale. I'm also giving it bonus points because all the achievements can be obtained in solo play, which is often the bane of completionists who prefer to play alone. Some will likely find frustration with the combat, due to a counter/parry mechanic that is easily overwhelmed and difficult to pull off due to the large amount of visual effects and attacks taking place on screen. On the harder difficulties I found myself being juggled for almost an entire lifebar at times which was a bit annoying, but a decent checkpoint system relieved some of the stress around that. Thumbs up overall, a solid entry in a genre that needs the love

I'm not sure why, but the game runs like molasses. The slowdown becomes so overwhelmingly bad that killing off a screen of guys becomes a chore. It looks fun, and plays fun when the game is running normal speed. But for some reason, I can't get it to run faster than 5 fps.

I think the game rules. Highly recommend. Kick ass original soundtrack too. Very dragons dogma power theme/ asian cartoon Amazing that this game sells for $10 (with massive discounts- got it for $1) It has 10x the depth of Cosmic Invasion yet is relatively unheard of and won't get the rose tinted glazing that Marvel fans blindly spew. (less than 300 reviews wtf? ) Top tier beat em up. Comparable to Fight N Rage, Sor4, Shredder's Revenge, Battletoads etc. I spent 7 hours just on the Story mode with the Kung Fu Black Groyper character. There are 3 other characters all with completely different and deep skill sets, specials, weapons, and moves. Everything is beautifully hand drawn and you can see the care taken in every detail, complete with expressions on the enemies / player in every frame. The tutorial is baked into the first stage, and explains as you go. The stages get more difficult. The backrounds are alive and detailed. Truly above and beyond what most beat em ups do. Guess what story mode unlocks? Tag Mode. The entire gimmick of Marvel Cosmic Invasion having tag team fighting- Jitsu Squad completed in 2022. Having said that, the negative review is correct- it should not have been locked behind story mode- gating players from using all the characters seems like a way to pad the play time, people want to try them all out and admittedly would have played more often if I could have played as all the characters at any point. I kept putting it down bc I'd get burnt out with the Afro-Groyper. So you get a really good classic style beat em up. And you also get the tag mode when you beat it once (not locked by difficulty, can beat it on easy) The tag mode is fun because you can play all 4 characters at once. My only complaint is the slightly spongey enemies and all the juggling can be a bit excessive, especially when you're getting juggle stun locked- but I didn't have too many frustrating moments like that, and I could brute my way out of most situations. There is actual parrying and counters you MUST learn. If it's too hard, crank that difficulty down- no one cares. I'm actually surprised the low reception considering how many degen furries there are gaming. Maybe because this one is just a fun cartoon beat em up with no ulterior motives. Didn't sexualize the animals. That's prob why.

good old games 2d

There is nothing that I don't like about this game! The art is excellent and the characterisations are good. There is a great sense of humour throughout the game, with a few laugh out loud moments. THE SOUNDTRACK IS EPIC! This is a fast paced beatemup, so all levels are pretty short and the game never drags ever. It controls really well and some of the special moves are very satisfying to pull off. Honestly had a great time playing this and will probably keep going back to it. Great fun.

Великолепная игра, со своей странной, но забавной атмосферой. В роли персонажей у нас животные, у которых очень забавные анимации, враги под стать нашим гг. Такие же карикатурные и странные, и это не плохо не подумайте, наоборот, мимика у всех персонажей в игре хороша. Есть простенькая прокачка, убивай врагов, получай свитки, открывай скиллы. Музыка великолепная, пару треков улетели в треклист. Самое интересное в этой игре, это боевая система. Можно как обычно тапать удар, он же P, но это скучно. Куда интереснее это делать паузы между ударами, которые открывают другие комбы. То есть боевая более вдумчивая чем обычно в жанре, у вас и у врагов есть гиперброня, при которой урон получается, но станлок не ловится, но если ее пробить, враг словит стан, и можно выдать полную серию атак. Еще есть парирование, но оно стандартное, еще есть два вида ульты. Обычная, перс что то делает, обычно в AoE урон, и специальная, где персонаж принимает свою человеческую форму, в которой он бессмертный. Только в ней можно закрывать боссов, кстати о них. Они в игре не ужасные, но просто противные, запинать можно конечно, но на харде КРАЙНЕ много подсосов с ними, из за чего ловишь стан-лок и смерть. Еще есть режим таг-тим, где сразу 2 перса будут, между которыми можно переключатся, и, при переключении во время атаки, тот перс который атакует, все так же будет бить, уже при смене нового. Рекомендую в общем. Хорошая +1 платина
