An all around fantastic turn based adventure game.Difficulty can be set it up for as easy or hard as you'd like.Deep yet very accessible to new comers. Hats off to the developer it's one one of my favorite finds on steam.
This game is slept on. It's one of my favorite games and highly recommended.
If steam allowed for a meh rating this would get it. The game isn't bad but certainly isn't great. Inventory is a mess. You have three pages of inventory but they are separate and sorting doesn't work across pages. There are also no options for sorting by anything but "type." That makes the usually tiresome inventory management minigame even worse than usual.
Fun, affordable little game for a guy like me who puts things on the easiest setting and just wants to do some casual hack and slash without too much trouble. It's a small download, so even those out in the sticks still running DSL can enjoy it without taking three hours to download it. You go through a few settings such what type of character you want (fighter, magic user, and good number of other choices), chose one starting perk, and then choose a map setting and size. It's pretty intuitive, and the entire game game be played with the mouse. You can buy or craft both potions and food, gather some wood and stone and then plop down your own base anywhere on the map and upgrade it as a place to heal and store things, as well as a place that will generate supplies of all types for you once you upgrade it to full potential, which is fairly easy to do. You enter dungeons that are just the right size for casual runs, nothing too big that takes too long, fight monsters, use skills/perks (all of which are right there on the toolbar when you're playing so they're easy to get at), maybe do a little fishing to get some food, encounter random events and fights as you move around the map - all standard stuff. You read books that you find for lore points which can then be used to buy some fancy items. I bought a treasure map to a dungeon that was filled with so much gold all over the place that money is no longer and issue for me. Very handy. The complexity is pared down so you can pop in, play a while, save it, and pop out till you have more time. I got it some years ago and kind of shrugged at it, didn't play much. I loaded it back up now that it has much more added to it and am having a lot of fun with it. It's a good little game to pass the time, and it does deliver on the feeling that you're getting stronger as you go and accomplishing something towards a goal. If you're looking for something to scratch the old timey RPG itch, but don't like overly complex skill trees, fighting styles, or game rules, you should give this one a try.
This game is really bad. It is near impossible to achieve 100% completion in the collection log. Don't know if the game isn't finished but once you beat the game there is no solid source to get the remaining half the collection log. I for the very rare occasion cheated the final achievements because even if I put 300 hours in the game I don't think I would ever get those broken achievements to pop. Most collections come from the quest in the game but once the story is over good luck getting the rest. There is no grace in the game that gives you undiscovered items more ..there is nothing. It doesn't make any sense.
good
Masterpiece✨
It's a good roguelike. Like most roguelikes, it's going to kill you a few times, perhaps many times...but it's fun once you get the hang of it :)
