Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance is not just a game; it's an adrenaline-fueled journey where your strategic prowess decides the fate of mankind against the machines. After the machines took over, the greatest threats may not come from the machines but rather from other human survivors.

Truly a "Terminator Salvation" game not “Dark Fate” I’m afraid, that movie sucks. Game has great physics, building destruction is awesome, graphics and FX are incredible. Units move and shoot realistically. How units fight in garrison is unique compared to other RTS games like C&C or CoH. Game has a pretty good story with decent voice acting. Other than some unit pathing issues and sound effects that could use a bit more polish (low volume and missing sound effects), it’s a fun, frustrating game that needs tactics to win. Wish the sequel had base building/fortification and hopefully fighting alongside John Connor in the future. Tip: Switch to open beta version to fix crash issue when loading saved games.
ok so playing the DLC uprising world map stage, so much prefer this option to linear titles, you get to make the descision on want on what land to take. the only thing i find a bit tedious is every map is kinda the same you start off with a limited force and you hold a couple of points untill you reinforcements. id like to see a point systems less reinforcements instead build a highly trained small group or vast horde. i dont like the map rescritions not allowed artillery... why not? if there is story behind it cool maybe an area that is to marshy to get tanks to. so smaller vehicles and infantry id like to create strong points not with any building but maybe a supply dump in a bulding and large supply trucks can bring supplies to the supply dumps and smaller trucks can move in to the parts of the map where it is needed gives you the ability to bunker down. i find the missles team go through missles at an incredible rate and sometimes fire it at infantry why no idea. garrisons i can fight a battle on one side the map and defend on the other side in one turn.. there is no positioning of you forces. dont get my wrong. over all i absolutley love this uprising DLC with world conquest. i hope they take it further and flesh it out im just worried it will get left by the wayside. strategy games imo dont always make the best storylines dont put to much effort into the storyline.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I constantly find myself coming back to this game every so often, and that's not just because of nostalgia for the IP, it's the challenging and methodical gameplay that keeps me coming back. Good campaign, with a story that fits well within the Terminator Universe. The missions are all quite unique, with some hidden missions if you play your cards right (or wrong). There are some really challenging mission scenarios that can be kind of frustrating for a first playthrough. The enemy variety is kind of staggering but it eventually boils down to "Rock, Paper, Shotgun." Tank does in fact, beat everything. But the tank is still a paper tiger when it comes to ATGMs. There are a few moments in a playthrough that you'll make decisions that affect the rest of your run, but you will be adequately warned of said choices. If you really wanted to, you can fight everyone. There is a surprising level of depth present in the game, sort of gets tarnished by RNG at times, but in my opinion, that just adds another layer of realism. DLCs are good additions that add decent levels of content and story progression. One DLC (Uprising) adds a conquest mode, where you and four other factions compete for control of the world map. There are even mods for it that enable you to play as the other factions. Very few bugs, even fewer related to crashing, which I have experienced, but never on this set-up. Mod manager was added a ~3 months ago, I finally gave that a shot, and uh, yea its awesome, there are already quite a few mods, some of them drastically change unit variation and even rebalance some missions which was pretty awesome. There is honestly so much going on here its hard to cover it all in a review, your best bet is too look up videos and watch gameplay of both in mission content, and the meta progression bits (supply management; which can end runs if careless, unit loadout management; which determines how you intend to approach missions, trading. replenishing, etc..) Overall, well worth my time, and my frustration with its difficulty. If you are someone who enjoy games that require true strategy, this is for you. If you are someone who is impatient and frustrates easily, maybe take a look at Starship Troopers: Terran Command, much more forgiving, gets you right into the action, and requires much more straight forward strategy. If I was to compare this game to others, I would compare it to Red Dragon, or Warno-esque games, far more RTT the RTS.
The game is fun and good. It is not perfectly balanced, as each faction has its pros and cons. The combat feels like two blind guys firing at each other. This can be a problem and a source of disappointment. Units here take a lot of damage, and to counter that, the devs made all units miss a lot. It doesn't feel natural or logical, but that's the way the game was designed. Putting that aside, the story is good, and the campaign is well done. It feels like an RTS game from the 2000s. There are persistent units and heroes, as well as choice-based missions. This means you can take a unit from mission 1 to the final mission, and what you choose in mission 2 will impact the ending. Spoilers about factions: There is Skynet. There is the US military—or what the US military that survived Judgment Day would look like. There are the Tech-Com units from the Resistance movies and what they would look like in a game. You have bandit survivors, and two other factions which are interesting: one is a group of people that mixes Skynet tech with civilian and military vehicles (they are independent and can be made an ally or an enemy), and the other is a Skynet-allied human faction. These factions enrich the lore in a way that the movies and comics don't. They also kind of answer the question of how the world survives in the Terminator universe. This blend of RTS, RPG, and a persistent campaign is a nice touch. If you can work around the "blind man's" combat, you will have fun and enjoy this game, even if the movie was not well-received by most people. I highly recommend it for Terminator fans.
Стратегия с очень странным балансом. С другой стороны, вроде и понятно почему баланс такой в сторону Терминаторов, но всё равно странно. С другом играть интересно.
I've got some time in this game and while I wish there was more of a "Conquest" styled mode like that of GOH (Gates of Hell) The multi-choice campaign in still fun enough that I've played through multiple times to see each outcome and even to see if you can beat the campaign with ONLY faction specific units that you as the player have access to thought the game; Which has offered enough of a challenge in itself. Overall not hard to learn as its basically rock-paper-scissors...well rock-paper-scissors-Tank as Tank beats everything, and Higher difficulties do make combat more challenging Infantry die easy if not in cover, and tanks unsupported are just deer on the Interstate while the hidden AT Spider is a speeding Semi, solid game, easy Controls, Decent Mechanics, Decent Story, Nice atmosphere, good sound design the Basic rifles could sound a bit better and the shotguns for the engineers and Guerillas. 7.8/10 seems fair enough. *SPOILER ALERT* If we had access to the Integrator Infantry units Id gladly say 8.5/10...also if in the final mission the EMP/Truck thing actually made legion fight themselves like Fin says he can make them do, or maybe it was Kondo I don't remember, and if its a distance thing that should be explained or have a radius marker.
They went way harder then they needed to making a movie tie in game. Dynamic RTS combat with persistent units is awesome. This game should be a reference point for new developers on how to make an RTS.
Fun RTS campaign
