About
When Hana’s garden of musical flowers are scattered across a sky full of beautiful islands, she must turn to the magical Tempopo for help returning them. Chaotic and uncoordinated by nature, the Tempopo rely on Hana’s conducting skills to keep on the right track, and solve each island's puzzle.
Each island is a challenge of planning and execution. Experiment with different configurations and routes, instruct every Tempopo to play their part as they smash, block, lift and push each other through the puzzles that span all four seasons.
A bright and joyful world that’s permeated with music, where every living element moves in harmony with a rhythmic heartbeat. With a soundtrack by BAFTA award-winning composer & audio director Jeff van Dyck, every note is a joy.
With each puzzle you solve, the flowers you rescue become a part of your very own melodic garden. Each type of flower sings its own tune, and you can synthesize their melodies to enjoy unique musical performances.

I'm rotating multiple lemmings in my mind to the most lovely tune. This runs great on Steamdeck! At time of writing, it has not been verified.
A feel good (and challenging) Puzzle game for all ages, there is an excellent Ebb and flow of emotion through the amazing soundtrack which is integrated into every aspect of the visual experience. I love how you have to fail to succeed in this puzzle game as you discover how each level will play out.
A neat little indie gem that is absolutely worth a playthough.
Witch Beam serves up a contender for puzzle game of the year, complete with brain-bending challenges, an unforgettable soundtrack, and their iconic art style.
This is up there with my favorite puzzle games! Towards the end I found some bugs. When they turned into blocks they would disappear. The move still worked, but they would just be invisible. One puzzle had a really bad bug that wouldn't let me progress. I had everything in the right spot, even used hint to see if I missed anything, but the timing or something was off and I couldn't do anything about it. Had to reset some pieces in order for the game to finally register. Did this 5 times before it finally just worked. It was weird. The other bug was in the garden at the end. The game wanted me to plant all the flowers. I had way too many flowers and not enough open plots. Tried rearranging to see maybe I needed a certain amount of each flower and nothing. The game just didn't want to let me finish because I had too many flowers to place. I had to go out to the menu and click on gallery to see the outro and credits. Other than those issues, I really enjoyed the creativity of these puzzles.
music and flowers are soothing af to the point my mind was ready for bed. 10/10
This game is an act of joy! Incredible visual polish and beautiful music.
Such a cute game!! The beginning levels ease you into the gameplay loop of the whole game, but man does the difficulty ramp up! I was so happy for hint mode later on cause I TRULY needed it. If you like chill games with positive vibes, I highly recommend picking it up. I ended up not playing the game through in 1 single sitting, but doing a handful of levels here and there as I liked. It was a nice way to wind down the evening by trying my hand at a few puzzles. Again, the hint mode is really beneficial here because there's no feeling like you're completely lost and can't do anything. You hit the hint button and it gives you just enough information to keep going without holding your hand too much. I have not done the challenge puzzles yet but I will soon enough. Highly recommend the game for older kids/younger teens. It's cute, makes you think, but not so hard that they feel lost.
Extremely good game. Tempopo is a programming game, a subgenre of puzzle games. You have inputs (the pink Tempopo); you have to "alter their state" (grab flowers); and then you have to direct the Tempopo to the output square. But, true to the game's (user-defined) Psychedelic tag, this carries much nicer and wackier vibes than more straightforward programming games. The music is also exceptional, and it's pretty easy to zone out while thinking about a tricky puzzle in the later sections. The large amount of extra content. Tempopo's sandbox music editor (the Melody Garden) has *tons* of room for creative expression -- it's also a relatively early unlock. The various additional challenges are really cool, too: there are the official challenges from the devs in at least two forms, but (IMO) players can create/share their own unique challenges.
This game might look like a simple kids' game at first glance, but don’t be fooled. Behind the adorable art style is a surprisingly strategic puzzle game that really makes you think. The music is lovely and fits perfectly with the relaxing but thoughtful vibe. Each round gives you just enough of a challenge to keep things interesting, and once you finish one, it is hard not to jump right into the next. If you enjoy puzzle games that are both charming and clever, Tampopo is a hidden gem worth checking out.
