Temple of Xiala

A fun little puzzle game with nice mechanics!

Even $2 is overpriced. There's about a half hour to hour of puzzles and then the game just stops. No end screen, no credits, nothing. It just sits there on the last completed puzzle.

It's okay... Got it through Humble Bundle I wouldn't buy it though. Very short.

While this is technically an early access title, after years of inactivity it appears to be abandoned. Going with that assumption, we're left with a sliding block puzzle game that only has 21 levels, takes less than an hour to complete, and has no ending. [spoiler]The character walks off screen on the final level and the player has to quit out manually.[/spoiler] It's functional, but if the best I can say about the game is that it technically works then it would be a pretty poor recommendation.

A short puzzler, Temple of Xiala was able to wrack my brain with some of it's later puzzles but ultimately isn't something worth spending money on. I was glad to derp around with it for a while as I got it as part of a giant Yogscast 2018 Jingle Jam Humble Bundle, but i could not recommend anyone purchasing it directly for it's own sake.
