Very cool atmosphere and art style, and very satisfying to kill things.
Very nice, must play for rogue-like fans
cool game
Holy peak everyone should hop on. Lowk ragebait sometimes tho. Worst part is its always your fault.
A game i keep coming back to, the tense lonely vibe is very well executed. Combat is extremely tense, you craft in real-time, often mid-fight, you're never safe from enemies showing up. The weapons feel so dang good, when you get good you'll try use your knife and salvage as much ammo as possible, and you'll die for it. The logs and things you read for story context are fun and campy, reads kinda like a horror star trek universe. A game i never expect to beat but love every moment of. Needs a controller IMO.
Leaving this "review" as a comment for myself, as part of an attempt to get through my backlog going into games completely blind. It's an unforgiving survival roguelite with very low-fi graphics, a neat system of combining items and what looks like an intriguing story. Even from where I got up to there is evidently some depth to the crafting, e.g. I think my first death on level 3, on my second run, was mostly because I had not discovered armour. There's really a lot to like here. But at the end of the day, I dislike survival games (very limited ammo etc.) and as roguelikes are repetitive by design it is an exercise in masochism to play one where you don't enjoy the core gameplay loop. I'm find with hard games but it's not stressful in a fun way, just very easy to die instantly because of a momentary distraction or a mistake. I wouldn't recommend it to me.
Не моё.
This one is a cool, fast-paced, and a pretty challenging game. Has a lot of classic roguelike traits, which is an additional pro for me. Yet, as an epileptic, there is one thing which I absolutely hate: bright flashing lights when the character teleports. The game definitely needs an option to turn these off, otherwise it sucks to turn away every time it happens. Solid 8/10, I'd say
3 consecutive times I found that secret room with 3 war-walkers on level 3 and 3 consecutive times they kicked my butt. On the last run that room didn't spawn and I pretty easily reached level 4 and beat it as well. Then the game decided "git gud noob lol" and sent 9 red guards right to the first room of level 5. Anyway, that was a good run.
Old-school, hard as nails game. I can't finish it. I can only make it to Level 7. So hard! Love it.
