VERY very good and growing game. It has been polished countless times from the day it was released and i can happily recommend the game at the current state. It's not only fun, but challenging in many ways. Don't know crap about deckbuilders, haven't played balatro and i don't especially love roguelikes. But this here, is a game i truly enjoy. Also, great dev that cares about bug reports, what the community has to say, always fixing stuff and bringing new content to the table.
I never usually write reviews, but I think this game hasn't received nearly enough attention. I play a lot of roguelikes/roguelites, so I feel I can form a well-informed opinion about this one. A comparison to Balatro is inevitable, and in my view, it's in the same league! The combination of numbers, colors, and shapes already provides a remarkably rich depth of gameplay. This is further enhanced by various scoring elements that allow for the sophisticated creation of game-changing synergies. Additionally, content upgrades are unlocked regularly, opening up new possibilities and nuances shortly after the game's release. These keep the game fresh even after the first successful runs. Oh, and you can get by quite well even with limited English skills. In my opinion, this game doesn't need to shy away from comparisons with Balatro.
It was a nice game at his demo version where i played more. There is so much new content in this update to EA and is by far, better game than already was before It has a nice build system! there are many options to choose what to play and everyone are valid if you do well. Great roguelike, playable without bugs and massive variety of content playable 60fps in a 4gb ram notebook btw :skull: well optimized
Imagine Balatro but without its red flags. That's TEKO. This roguelike deckbuilder has all the components to become the most complete game in the genre. Especially because its incremental mechanics are everywhere; in fact, you can win a run with any kind of build: THERE IS NO BAD CARD. So far there's already a huge amount of content, and even more is planned for the future. It's very addictive. The dev replies to all comments and posts many announcements on the Discord server, constantly supporting the community — he even created a wiki. He also guides players: if someone has questions, he helps them. He's listened to feedback and ideas and has created content based on player suggestions. This game has a future. I already like its current state, and it'll be great when the full version releases. The graphics are very funny to me. I understand they're not everyone's taste, but personally I love them. They're adorable. Each pocket (deck) has its own mechanic, which makes the variety extreme. As patches come out, even more crazy ideas will likely become reality. The game clearly pushes players to tryhard theorycrafting, which I find fascinating.
bought TEKO full price on a whim and ive been enjoying it a lot, like waaay more than i was expecting. it has a good sense of humour and theres a *lot* of game in there too. its a bit intimidating at first but if youre willing to give this game some of your time to really understand it, it will absolutely reward you also the dev is super receptive to feedback, and seems really set on making this game as good as possible. they have a lot of passion and it really shows
This is already one of the best Balatro-inspired games to have come along in the past year. It evolves the formula in interesting ways that add on a bit of complexity without going overboard, revealing different and new angles on strategy. It's tough but once you get a feel for it things start to fall into place. The art is charming - reminds me of a mixture of Dream Quest and Nubby's Number Factory.
cool deckbuilder
Very fun and enjoyable deckbuilder taking inspiration from games such as Balatro
Es bueno, son muchos sistemas juntos y es como jugar triple poker.
