About

Technicity is a first-person city building game where you can also design your own construction blocks and items to create really unique buildings. Use cranes to speed up construction, terraform the open world, build roads and use vehicles to travel to different cities that you or your friends create in solo or coop mode.

Use a crane or a cement mixer to quickly build houses, shops, factories and any other building you can think of. The design is yours: with a large variety of building blocks of different shapes and materials, you can really create whatever you want.
You can then save a schematic from any building you made and start construction of the same building somewhere else.
Share your schematics in the Steam Workshop and use other players' creations.

The open world is huge and can be filled with many big cities. An existing road network with thousands of km's lets you reach every part of the 384 km2 map. Build your own roads and they'll be integrated into the navigation system.
Terraform the world with steamrollers and bulldozers - you can even create or remove entire mountains!

Design and produce your own building blocks, items and furniture in factories, and use them to create really unique buildings.
The items you design can also have useful features: create a garage door that opens, an illuminated sign or even a vehicle.
Any other player in your world can then use the items produced in your factories.

Invite your friends to join your world and build new cities or have fun with some role play.
Share your best building schematics in the Steam Workshop and discover what other players have made. You can use prefab buildings, item designs or entire maps from the workshop.

Reviews
This is a review of the ‘Technicity’ computer game. The review is divided into several sections for easiness of reading. 1. Basic information. The game ‘Technicity’ was created by the ‘Osaris Games’ studio (website: http://www.osaris.net/). Game was published by RockGame S.A., (website: https://rockgame.pl/). The game was released on Steam on day 15 of month September, year 2022. According to the SteamDB website, the game received 118 patches in the year 2022, 4 patches in 2023 and 1 patch in 2024 (source: https://steamdb.info/app/781180/patchnotes/). It looks like the game is not having much attention from its developers according to the number of patches in years 2023 and 2024. This looks very strange while the game still has numerous problems and known bugs which are still not solved. 2. Game play and genre. SteamDB lists following tags for this game: 3D, City Builder, Sandbox, Building, Crafting, Simulation, Open World, Automation, Online Co-Op, Singleplayer, First-Person, Multiplayer, Transportation, Exploration, Modern, Realistic, Economy, Co-Op, Flight, Resource Management. The game really is a sandbox game where the most time is spend on building and driving vehicles. It has open world and co-op feature. However, other statements are not true. This game is not a simulator in any ways. This game is not realistic at all. 3. Simulacra. Built-in models (“pre-fabs”) of buildings are neither realistic nor being constructed in a realistic way. Built-in models have no usable doors, no inside walls and no ladders. All the buildings only have an external view which may seem a bit realistic from a very long distance. As soon as you look inside these buildings, you will see that they are simply a collection of simulacra. The scale and level of detail of these simulacra is quite poor. Vehicle physics is an utter garbage. Vehicle physics in old arcade games of 1990’s were much better. This is not a joke. Arcade computer games of the previous century had much better physics for vehicles than this game. 4. GUI. The graphical user interface has numerous problems and bugs. It looks like it was made either by blind or mindless people. 5. Music and Sounds. The music in the main menu is quite good. Background noise sounds are normal. Vehicle sounds are terribly unrealistic. For me it is impossible to play the game with such poor vehicle sounds. 6. Summary. The concept of the game is quite unique and interesting, but the practical implementation of all the ideas is terribly bad. Moreover, development of the game has stopped and there is little to no chance to see any improvements. The game looks like a project which was abandoned during its early phase of development. Do not buy such games.
Cool concept but abandoned.
"Just a sandbox game" Is it worth it? I would say yes. But try to buy game on sales. What is it? - a sandbox game made on Unity with large library of materials and tools to what? - to create something. When you play this game, you will play with your imagination or just chilling instead of watching brainrot vids. ______ SCORES______ General Score from me - 7 / 10 (Cuz i love it for some reason) Graphics - (7 / 10) Sometimes Pretty, but in general it`s one of buch unity assets. Physics - (2 / 10) yes. I will not blame it, physics just present in game. Storyline - (4/ 10) what?? We have a bunch of tasks here from main line and from citizen. Game includes coop-mode when you have fun with your friends. In general, this is good place to create your house ideas or building visualization, becasuse you have all functionality to do this. The overall quality is just good, but could be better, because the idea is very good. You can build city, you can interact with city by many activities. If there just be a better, more difficult economy system, managing system, city control activities, it could be a more popular. Also the in-game tutorial is not much clear to understand all game benefits And maybe that`s all what you need to know about this game.
Is this game abandoned?
Technicity approaches the city-building genre from an unconventional angle, placing the player directly inside a vast open world instead of observing it from above. The experience begins not with spreadsheets or zoning tools, but with the tactile act of shaping land, driving construction vehicles, and assembling buildings piece by piece. Osaris Games builds the foundation around creative freedom: you are encouraged to sculpt terrain, design your own modular construction blocks, craft custom furniture, and assemble entire structures from scratch. The world itself is huge, filled with empty spaces and rough-cut landscapes that invite experimentation. Rather than limiting the player with early-game restrictions or a traditional resource system, the game hands you powerful tools from the start and says: build the city you imagine. The highlight of Technicity is the act of building itself. Designing original structures becomes surprisingly absorbing thanks to the flexible block-creation system, which lets players sculpt detailed architectural elements and share them through the Steam Workshop. Factory setups further expand the creative loop, allowing players to mass-produce custom pieces and use them across multiple projects. Driving vehicles, laying roads, and physically traveling between distant build sites adds a sense of scale that few other city-builders attempt. This first-person perspective and hands-on approach make the process feel more personal, as though you are an architect and engineer working inside the space rather than a distant overseer. For players who love constructing large-scale projects, this sandbox-centered design can become deeply satisfying. Yet the game’s ambitions often exceed the maturity of its underlying systems. While it offers the appearance of a city-builder—fire stations, hospitals, police buildings, and other civic structures—their functions are minimal or nonexistent. Many of the buildings operate more as decorative set dressing than meaningful components of a simulation. There is no crime system for police stations to influence, no health mechanics for hospitals to improve, and no complex simulation driving the behaviour of NPC populations. This leads to a disconnect between the aesthetic promise of a functioning metropolis and the mechanical reality that much of the city lacks depth beyond its visual presentation. For players expecting a simulation on the level of traditional city-builders, this absence becomes a noticeable gap. Terrain and infrastructure tools, though generous in scope, can also feel rough around the edges. Road construction in particular tends to be finicky, with slopes that snap into strange angles and intersections that lack polish. Terrain transitions may appear abrupt, and the world’s natural geography sometimes feels more like a rough draft than a cohesive landscape. These issues don’t ruin the creative experience, but they do add friction, especially when attempting more precise or realistic city layouts. The game’s visuals and NPC animations similarly reflect the limitations of an independent project, functioning well enough to support creativity but lacking the refinement expected from larger-budget titles. Even with these shortcomings, Technicity has a clear identity and appeals strongly to a certain type of player. Those who value open-ended building, architectural design, terrain shaping, and large-scale experimentation will find plenty to enjoy. Its cooperative mode also adds a layer of social creativity, letting friends build entire neighborhoods together in a persistent world. And because the game doesn’t impose demanding simulation rules, it becomes an ideal canvas for relaxed, long-form construction sessions. However, players seeking deep urban management or a complex interplay of economic and civic systems will quickly notice the emptiness behind the city’s façade. Ultimately, Technicity stands somewhere between a creative sandbox and a light construction simulator, offering impressive freedom but limited systemic depth. It succeeds best when embraced as a hands-on building toy rather than a full-featured city-management experience. The tools it provides are powerful, the world is large, and the ability to create and share custom content gives it lasting appeal. With more development polish and richer simulation layers, it could evolve into something truly exceptional. For now, it remains a distinctive and engaging choice for players who find joy in constructing, shaping, and designing entire cities from the ground up—one block, road, and blueprint at a time. Rating: 7/10
It's fun because you can make a city any way you want. And if there isn't items you need or want, you can do a search from items others have made and are sharing. I'd like to be able to change colors of things but overall this is an engaging game with lots of opportunities. I'd also like to be able to delete large amounts of items at one time, which there may be, I don't know but it is a great game.
The building is fun and the city building aspect from a first person view is bold and a great idea. However it is poorly executed and feels lifeless. On top of that it's abandonned. Do not buy.
good game
